    Yu Peng's "day and night companion with the fish turtle" began in the summer of 1996.

    That year, he built a cold river aquaculture farm in Laqiao Town, and was determined to go all out.

In second years, a huge typhoon struck, and a large number of crabs escaped. In third years, it was thought that it had boiled down, but the turtle price suddenly collapsed.

    Looking at the turtle that can not be sold at the price of the pond, the thought of hundreds of thousands of yuan of funds is wasted. The dual pressures of spirit and economy make Yu Peng face a difficult choice: whether to enter or to retire?


    Yu Peng, who did not concede defeat, soon reaffirmed his belief after a brief confusion.

    In 1999, after a period of market research, he decided that consumers did not like to eat turtle, but they did not appreciate the bad taste of the turtle.

    Soon, his experiment proved to be effective. In those years, 2000 eco turtles were in short supply.

    In 2000, Yu Peng built up a new cooperative relationship between the more than 40 farmers and the surrounding farmers by "strike while the iron is hot."


    Although the market situation of the Turtle was not very good, Yu Peng insisted on the principle of "rather than making money by himself or making the farmers suffer losses", and won the trust of farmers in good faith, and further expanded the scale of such cooperation.

    By 2002, he had established a cooperative relationship with nearly 100 farmers in and outside the city, with an area of 5000 mu and annual sales of more than ten million yuan.

    Tonaka was the first to register a trademark for his products. The production base was also identified as a green agricultural product base in Ningbo and Zhejiang provinces. The eco Turtle was rated as a green agricultural product and a state-level nuisance free agricultural product in Ningbo and Zhejiang.


    At the same time, he actively developed modern "order agriculture". Only in the first half of this year did he provide more than 3 species of turtle species to the surrounding farmers such as deer Pavilion and Tai LAN, with an area of about 3000 mu. The total income of these farmers is expected to reach more than 200 yuan at the end of the year.

    Yu Peng said, "the success of business has made me rich in my own way, but let more farmers get rich together is my higher goal in the future".
