In the past 5 years, there are only two foreign trade associations officially approved and qualified as legal persons in Ningbo. They are Wenzhou chamber of Commerce in Ningbo and Quanzhou chamber of Commerce in Ningbo.

By the end of July 2010, in the half year or so time, the Ningbo municipal foreign trade association was formally established and registered to 9. The businessmen from Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, Shanxi, Zhoushan, Shaoxing and Lanxi accelerated the establishment of the chamber of Commerce in Ningbo.

The accelerated scene began in January 17th of this year.

This afternoon, the Hubei chamber of Commerce in Ningbo was founded. This is the first Ningbo provincial chamber of Commerce in Ningbo City approved by the Federation of industry and Commerce and the Civil Affairs Bureau.

A businessman in Ningbo said, "some foreign trade associations actually have strong support from their local governments. They even play the role of local investment. As a matter of fact, from the perspective of the two governments, they support the establishment of a different place chamber of Commerce.

If the organizational structure is not solid or a small circle and ignore the commonweal nature of the non-governmental organizations, the cohesive force and influence of the chamber will be discounted, and its role can not be fully realized, or even the chamber of Commerce will exist in name only.
