The industrialization and application of hi-tech fibers is a key area of technological innovation in the textile industry. Although we have made great achievements in this field during the "11th Five-Year" period, the technology and equipment of high performance fibers such as carbon fiber, aramid, high strength and high modulus polyethylene fibers have not yet been industrialized, and are still subject to the technical blockade and restrictions of developed countries to varying degrees. This also affects the technological upgrading of China's aerospace, defense, military, construction, infrastructure, environmental protection and other fields.
With the support of the state, during the "12th Five-Year" period, we should also make great efforts in improving the quality and performance of high-tech fibers and the industrialization of downstream composites.
Secondly, we should continue to accelerate the development of industrial textiles.
Industrial textiles are the most potential and high value-added products in the textile industry. The degree of their development and application is also an important symbol to measure whether a country's textile industry is strong.
In October 19th, the State Council made clear seven major strategic emerging industries: energy conservation, environmental protection, new information industry, bio industry, new energy, new energy vehicle, high-end equipment manufacturing industry and new materials.
The NDRC also confirmed that in the 12th Five-Year plan, the formulation of strategic emerging industries should be the focus.
This will provide a good opportunity for the development of industrial textiles.
For example, as a new type of biomass fiber to cope with the increasingly depletion of oil resources and the sustainable development of the textile industry, as well as agricultural environmental protection and medical care, we need to work hard to develop new products in a scientific and pragmatic spirit.
It is not hard to predict that with the sustained and stable development of China's economy, industrial textiles, which are mainly used to meet the needs of domestic supporting industrial applications and even the needs of cutting-edge technologies, will become a new economic growth point for the development of China's textile industry.
Finally, we will continue to implement the construction of independent brand.
During the "12th Five-Year" period, we should continue to encourage the garment industry to drive the innovation of the fabric industry, promote the innovation of the fiber material industry, and then drive the innovation of the entire textile processing technology.
It is still necessary to build a number of independent well-known brands with international influence through the construction of independent brands of clothing, home textiles and other end products, and support the cross regional mergers and reorganization and industrial integration of the dominant brand enterprises, and encourage and guide the brand enterprises to go out.
