Female Job Seekers Are More Popular With &Nbsp; Labor Shortage Has Eased.
At the beginning of the year, the "labor shortage" was considered by many employment enterprises to be the most serious in a few years. In the past six months, the employment report of the first half of 2011 released by the Ningbo human resources and social security department yesterday (July 20th) showed that although the number of jobs needed by Ningbo enterprises increased by 10%, the number of job seekers increased by 20%, so the problem of labor shortage has eased.

According to the Ningbo Employment Management Service Bureau, in the first half of the year, the city's human resources market provided 1 million 307 thousand and 800 jobs, an increase of 10.55% compared to the same period, and a total of 644 thousand and 300 job seekers, an increase of 22.5% over the same period last year.
The number of job seekers increased more than the increase in jobs.
Chen Faquan, director of the public employment service section of Ningbo Employment Management Service Bureau, told reporters that the annual labor gap is roughly a "smile curve". The demand for enterprises will be relatively large at the beginning of the year, but the gap will gradually decrease by February and March (a large number of migrant workers return to Ningbo) and May and June.
From the second half of the year, with the increase of orders and the increasing number of migrant workers returning home, the gap will gradually increase.
Chen Faquan said that the overall employment environment in Ningbo is still relatively standardized, and the treatment of employees is also good. Therefore, the overall employment gap will not be great.
Employment in traditional industries is also improving.
Technical threshold
Even so, Chen Faquan believes that the structural contradictions in employment in Ningbo may persist for a long time, that is, there are no suitable candidates for some highly skilled technicians, and some workers who have no skills themselves may not have the right jobs.
Reporters found in the interview that, like some labor-intensive traditional industries, the requirements for employees are also rising.
"We recruit workers are set the threshold, generally have some work experience, to achieve a certain level of technology to enter, no experience, we generally recruit only vocational school students, rarely recruited from the community."
Personnel manager of an enterprise near Ning Road, Ningbo, told reporters.
"General practitioners can not be recruited. What is most lacking now is some technical jobs, such as electricians, equipment maintenance, etc."
Chen Ming, director of Ningbo Siming chemical industry, told reporters that they will recruit skilled workers for a long time and prepare to pay another salary on campus recruitment in October this year.
Enterprises are most short of general practitioners.

In the first half of the year, about 1300000 posts in Ningbo's human resources market accounted for 43.67% of manufacturing jobs.

From the perspective of job search, the number of job seekers who are relatively concentrated is also the production and pportation equipment operators and business and service personnel. The proportion is 45.95% and 26.59% respectively, accounting for 72.54% of the total number of job seekers.
The dynamic monitoring of the employment of 1406 key enterprises shows that the demand for production and pportation equipment operators is 10 thousand and 800, accounting for 75.75% of the post demand.
The demand is greater than the top ten jobs: the general worker, the operator, the assembler, the sewing worker, the salesperson, the inspector, the packer, the security guard, the injection worker and the restaurant attendant.
Quite a number of employees who are often recruited in the labour market can feel the obvious phenomenon: few female job seekers.
According to the statistics of Ningbo Employment Management Service Bureau, in the first half of the year, the number of male job seekers was higher than that of male enterprises, while that of women was just the opposite.
There is no significant difference between the demand for male and female workers in the specific requirements for the sex of the job seekers.
But from the perspective of the gender structure of job seekers, the number of male applicants in the first half of the year is far greater than that of women.
There were 402680 male job seekers and 241650 female job seekers.
"Many jobs are more suitable for women, such as the service industry and the clothing industry, and because of family, social and other factors, there are fewer job seekers, so they tend to have more choices and opportunities."

The main force of job seekers after 80
In terms of age, recruitment needs and job seekers' age are mainly young and middle-aged, focusing on 25 to 34 years of age.
In other words, post-80s are increasingly becoming the main force of job seekers.
According to previous statistics, 80 percent accounted for about 60% of migrant workers in Ningbo.
"This may be one of the reasons why we are hard to recruit."
Li, manager of a clothing company in Jiangdong, Ningbo, told reporters that their front-line workers were also treated fairly well, with an average wage of 3000 yuan. Even so, many young workers believe that there is no future for the clothing industry. They prefer to pay office less than 2000 yuan.
Reporters learned that before the survey showed that more than 80% of the post-80s and 90s migrant workers put the "future and career planning" in the first place, hoping to get more respect in their work.
The relevant person in charge of the Department said that enterprises should also see the advantages of the new generation of migrant workers, for example, they read more books than their parents, and receive new knowledge quickly and motivated.
Enterprises should learn to adapt themselves to these migrant workers.
