Among China's business leaders, 3 out of 4 people (74%) agree that personal performance management is an important factor to promote the overall performance of enterprises.
"What is important is how to arouse employees' inner motivation through more effective performance management methods, change their way of doing things, promote a more efficient inter departmental and cross team spirit of cooperation, and seek sustainable growth opportunities for productivity and competitiveness beyond workload." This study finds that enterprises in China and other countries in the world have misconduct in performance management. Of the Chinese enterprises surveyed, only 33% achieved the combination of performance management and corporate strategy. 89% of the business leaders emphasized that corporate culture has great influence on the effectiveness of performance management. However, less than 1/4 (23%) of enterprises can tailor performance management methods based on corporate culture and values.
