Department store Harold (Harrods) is developing a "long-term international image" which includes mobile trading platforms and online magazines.
Earlier this year, Harold released an GPS based app for shopping malls, and Harold plans to implement new functions for customers this fall, buying products through their mobile phones and tablet computers.
The department store is about to launch online magazines on its website homepage, mainly in the fashion industry.
The magazine will soon meet with customers.
David Wabi, director of Harold's direct business, commented: "through this series of operations, we plan to build our website into the forefront of online luxury products in the next 5 years, not only to make it a bigger website, but also a bigger one.
