The inspection and Acceptance Meeting of "the famous city of textile materials in China" was held in Dezhou, Shandong Province recently.

Chen Shujin, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, Li Lingshen, President of China Industrial Textiles Association, Zhao Yuejin, director of the industrial cluster Work Committee of China Textile Industry Federation and Li Guimei, Secretary General of China Industrial Textiles Association, attended the meeting.

Accompanied by the vice chairman of the Shandong Textile Industry Association, Liu Xinguang, the leader of the Dezhou municipal government and Li Shimin, the Secretary of the Lingxian County county Party committee, the association leaders and experts listened to the Lingxian County county government's report on the development of the geotechnical industry in Lingxian County, and inspected the quality of the geosynthetics in Dezhou, the Dezhou Dongfang geomembrane material Limited by Share Ltd, Shandong Hongxiang Chemical Fiber Group Co., Ltd. and Shandong province.

By the end of 2010, there were 156 geosynthetics enterprises in Lingxian County, including 67 Enterprises above Designated Size, and 26 enterprises with an annual income of over 100 million yuan, with an annual sales income of 8 billion 350 million yuan in the whole industry.

In the 1~10 months of this year, sales revenue of the whole industry reached 7 billion 500 million yuan.

Lingxian County has set up the nation's largest new manufacturing base, sales center and procurement of geosynthetics.

Chen Shujin fully affirmed the achievements of Lingxian County's geotechnical industry.

He pointed out that geotextile textiles are the key development areas of industrial textiles and important materials for the construction of infrastructures such as railways, highways and water conservancy projects. They have good potential for development and Lingxian County has a good foundation for development.

It is hoped that Lingxian County will seize the opportunity, pay attention to the promotion role of science and technology in the development of industry, establish a platform for cooperation among associations, governments and enterprises, make good use of regional brands, and be down-to-earth, bigger and stronger.

Li Lingshen pointed out that the development level of industrial textiles is an important indicator of textile power and a strategic choice to pform from a big textile country to a strong textile power. It is hoped that the following aspects should be paid attention to in the future development of Lingxian County's geotextile textile materials industry: to formulate the overall development plan for the industry, to point out the direction for future development; and to attach importance to the role of industrial clusters as regional brands in terms of scale, technology and quality.

We should establish industry entry threshold, regulate industry behavior, promote healthy development of the industry, pay attention to energy conservation and environmental protection, apply waste textiles to geomembrane materials, and develop circular economy.
