During The Spring Festival, The Tide Of Workers Returning Home Will Come To &Nbsp; Will The Trade Unions Increase The Burden?
With the central and Western Regions
Economics
With the rapid development, more and more migrant workers no longer go back to work in the Pearl River Delta after returning to the Spring Festival.
Hu Bo, the boss of a garment factory in Foshan, was upset when he mentioned the employment problem when he chatted with reporters.
Although his factory is not big, but whenever the Spring Festival is coming, he is worried that the skilled workers in the factory will not come back after the holidays.
If he doesn't come back, he has to find a way to recruit workers.
In Foshan, just like Hu Bo, he met with holidays.
Labor shortage
There are quite a lot of enterprises.
With the rapid economic development in the central and western regions, more and more migrant workers are no longer returning to the Pearl River Delta after returning to the Spring Festival.
According to the relevant leaders of the Foshan employment and Employment Service Center, the labor force of other provinces in Foshan has decreased by more than 20 thousand over the past year, and many enterprises have experienced employment difficulties many years ago.
And the coming Spring Festival workers' return to the countryside may make it harder for the Buddhist enterprises suffering from the hardships of employment.
Labor before the holiday has been "stretched".
Although recruitment difficulties are now seen in the Pearl River Delta region, the cost of raw materials is rising and the cost of financing is rising.
market
Under the background of slowing demand, the problem of shortage of workers is still one of the troubles of Foshan enterprises.
As a labor-intensive industry, the shortage of workers in the textile industry is particularly serious.
Although the number of workers in Hu Bo's clothing factory is not large, and the average wage in the peak season can reach five thousand or six thousand yuan, it still can not get rid of the fate of lack of work.
Hu Bo said that about 70% of factories, such as textile and labor-intensive industries, are in a state of labor shortage for many years.
This is also happening in the aluminum industry.
Alcoa is a wholly foreign owned company. Although it has opened a "2500 to 4000 yuan monthly income, free accommodation and punctual wages", it has installed air conditioners and expanded dining rooms for dormitories, but still can not recruit people.
In Shunde, an important manufacturing base in Foshan, the District Federation of industry and Commerce conducted a survey of enterprises in the region. The results showed that the total labor shortage rate was 20%.
Ye Zhongping, chairman of Guangdong Bao Li Ya Industrial Co., Ltd., told reporters that the company has made three consecutive pay increases this year, but many new recruits often go away for one or two days only.
The situation in the city is also not optimistic.
According to Liang Zhenxin, deputy director of the Foshan labor employment service center, Foshan's labor force in other provinces has decreased by 20 thousand over the past year, which has a lot of impact on the normal operation of enterprises.
Companies are more worried that employees will not come back after the holidays.
Due to the earlier spring festival this year, the coming homeward tide is more worrying for enterprises.
Zhangcha jade belt garment factory official told reporters that in recent years, every year before the new year, there are a lot of worries. On the one hand, we must take care of business problems, and on the other hand, we are worried about recruitment problems.
In fact, in Chancheng, many knitted, textile and garment enterprises are facing the same dilemma: employees will not come back after the end of the year, and the factory labor force will be reduced much more than before spring.
Hu Bo told reporters that his workers could get a maximum wage of six thousand or seven thousand yuan, but what he felt most helpless was that the welfare benefits were still improving. They still could not keep the workers. "Before the Spring Festival comes, the biggest wish is that the skilled workers will be able to return to work on time."
In fact, the difficulty of labor after the holiday has become a common problem faced by Foshan enterprises.
It is understood that in recent years, the economic development in the central and western regions is relatively fast. The gap between the wage level and the PRD is getting smaller and smaller, while the cost of living and work pressure in the Pearl River Delta are much higher than those in the central and western regions. This makes many migrant workers choose to return home for employment.
Especially after the Spring Festival every year, whether employees return or not has become the "heart disease" of enterprises.
Although it is still impossible to predict the employment gap of Foshan enterprises next year, data from Foshan labor and Employment Service Center show that the number of workers who are out of work after Spring Festival is above fifty thousand every year.
In 2011, for example, the number of new workers was over 30 thousand, while the number of new recruits was over 100 thousand, and there were about 80 thousand people left behind.
According to the forecast, the employment gap in Foshan next year should not be much different from that of last year.
"But now that the shortage of workers is more serious, even if the gap does not change next year, the impact on enterprises will be deepened."
An enterprise official said.

More people are required to stay in the workforce.
According to a survey conducted by the Foshan employment and Employment Service Center, the shortage of workers in Buddhist enterprises is mainly concentrated in the labor-intensive industries in the manufacturing industry, and all of them are in short supply. Especially young women workers are mainly concentrated in the hardware and electrical industry, electronic and electrical manufacturing, garment and textile industries.
For some industries, raising wages has become a magic weapon for enterprises to retain employees.
Junan, a cowboy garment manufacturer, has been on holiday since now, but the boss of the company is not worried about the problem of employees' return because he believes that the treatment is retained.
It is reported that because the factory adopts piecework wage system, the monthly salary of employees can generally reach 3000 - 4000 yuan, of which more than 10% of employees earn seven thousand or eight thousand yuan a month.
With this kind of support, the factory can recruit many workers every year as long as it signs a recruitment sign on the talent market.
However, as more and more post-80s and post-90s employees become the main force, their change of employment concept also forces enterprises to adjust their strategies in retaining workers.
According to the investigation and analysis of the Foshan employment center, 30% of the enterprises think that the new generation of migrant workers is quite different from the idea that the first generation of migrant workers "live on the job, give money and do not talk about the working environment and conditions". They have new requirements for the wages and benefits, labor conditions and working environment of the enterprises.
Going out to work is no longer a way for parents to earn their living, but to gain their own development and strive for a better life.
This indicates that enterprises want to retain workers, but also need to improve their emotional, development platform and living environment.
Luge, Minister of human resources, told reporters that in recent years, the company's backflow rate has reached 99%, and there is basically no shortage of workers after the festival.
"Because a large part of the employees are skilled workers, they are strong in stability, and the company has done a lot of work in their career development space and enterprise culture construction.
If a company manages well, employees feel that their work environment and benefits are good. No one will want to leave.
Said Roger.
Liang Zhenxin, deputy director of the Foshan employment and Employment Service Center, also believes that wages alone can not fundamentally solve the problem, or rely on industrial upgrading, improvement of employment environment and wage growth mechanism to attract people to leave behind.
"Some students who graduated from local universities prefer to pay 1500 yuan a month for a company's administration, rather than a monthly salary of 2500 yuan to the front-line workers, because labor intensity is high and skills upgrading opportunities are not guaranteed."
