The sub committee and the Xinjiang Huatai Cotton Professional Cooperative respectively investigated cotton picking and selling of 2737 cotton farmers in 310 provinces (cities and regiments) of 12 provinces in the mainland and 310 autonomous regions in the mainland.

According to the survey results, in the end of November, except for Jiangsu Province, cotton picking in most cotton areas of the country basically ended, and the progress was flat compared with the same period last year.

Seed cotton purchase prices continue to decline, but the decline has increased. However, there are state purchasing and storage markets, some cotton areas in the northwest inland, Hubei, Tianjin and other cotton areas have been actively purchasing, and cotton farmers have been selling more enthusiastically. The progress of the acquisition is accelerating and the sale is coming to an end. Cotton farmers in some cotton areas such as the the Yellow River valley are still reluctant to sell, and the acquisition progress is slow, especially in areas where there is no storage, and the acquisition is almost stagnant.

According to the weighted average of cotton planting area of cotton farmers surveyed, as of the end of November, the average picking rate of cotton growers in China was 95.1%, 0.3 percentage points faster than that of the same period last year, and the turnover rate was 68.1%, an increase of 18.1 percentage points compared with October, a 2.1 percentage point decrease compared with that of the previous year, and the average selling price was 7.75 yuan / kg, down 29.7% from the same period last year, down 4.3% from the same month.

In November, the cloudy and rainy weather dominated the the Yellow River River Valley.

By the end of November, except for a long time of rain and a small amount of cotton in Henan Province, all the other provinces had been picking up. The total picking rate was 99.2%, which was 0.9 percentage points faster than that of last year.

Due to local disaster in the the Yellow River River Basin this year, the quality of cotton is poor, so it is difficult to meet the requirements of storage and purchase. The acquisition of cotton enterprises and farmers' brokers is not positive. The purchase price is lower than that in other regions, and the progress of sales is slow. Especially in Shaanxi and Shanxi provinces, the price is much lower than other cotton areas, and there is little progress in the acquisition.

By the end of November, the average turnover rate of cotton growers was 38.4%, an increase of 13.5 percentage points compared with October, a decrease of 7 percentage points compared with the same period last year, and the average selling price of cotton farmers in the whole month was 7.45 yuan / kg, down 34% compared to the same period last year, down 7.68% from the same month.

In the early November, the weather in the Yangtze River valley was good, cotton bolting and picking were picking up, and the picking and selling were generally smooth. The rainy weather increased in the second half of the month, which had a certain effect on cotton picking.

In addition to the early disaster in Jiangsu Province, the provinces were picking up more slowly than before. The other provinces picked up faster than the same period last year. At the end of the month, they were more than 90%, and the overall picking rate was 91.8%, which was 5.2 percentage points faster than that of last year.

The cotton producing provinces in the Yangtze River Basin delivered more than 1 times the reserves in the the Yellow River basin in November.

Conditions are customary, that is, sales can be sold quickly, but the market is still slow, compared with the same period last year.

By the end of November, the turnover rate was 64.4%, an increase of 27.4 percentage points compared with October, a 5.5 percentage point decrease compared with the same period in October. The average selling price of cotton farmers in the whole month was 7.86 yuan / kg, down 29.9% compared with the same period last year, and fell 3.08% than the same month.

In the middle and late 11 months of Xinjiang, there was a strong wind cooling and snowy weather. Cotton picking, selling and processing were affected.

Among them, the northern Xinjiang picking has basically ended, the progress is about 95%, and the picking progress in South Xinjiang is slow, about 90%. The main reasons are: first, the price of picking flowers is high and the manpower is few; two, the price continues to fall, some of the contractors are facing losses, and the willingness to pick flowers after the frost has dropped. Cotton farmers in some areas of Kashi have abandoned the last crop picking.

By the end of November, the total harvest rate in Xinjiang was 93.5%, 2 percentage points slower than the same period last year, and the progress of local and regiment groups was basically the same.

Under the influence of weather factors, the purchase amount of some cotton enterprises declined, and cotton quality control became more stringent. Cotton farmers thought that the price rebound in the short term was hopeless, and the pressure of borrowing and lending was bigger. Instead of wait-and-see, the cotton traders began selling at a loss, and the acquisition of cotton seed in Xinjiang came to an end. It is expected that most enterprises will finish processing in mid December.

By the end of November, the average sale of cotton growers in Xinjiang was 91.7%, an increase of 0.4 percentage points over the same period last year.

Xinjiang cotton area because of the good quality of cotton, the largest reserves, the highest price in the country, in November, the average sale of seed cotton is 38.88%, the average price of 7.98 yuan / kg, down 26.6%, down 5%.
