Humen small grass clothing and other business executives told reporters: "although the export of the winter has passed, but the future situation is still not optimistic, in Wuhan and other inland cities to find the market to become the key."

Reporters learned that enterprises like small grass baby accounted for nearly half of the 80 exhibitors.

Forcing local industries to upgrade

The overseas garment enterprises have brought more consumption choices to local residents.

In 2011, sales of clothing in Wuhan amounted to 30 billion yuan, while the sales volume of garment industry in Humen was 15 billion yuan in the same period.

It is understood that as a famous garment city in China, Humen's clothing industry system is complete.

In terms of technology, the eastern coastal garment enterprises have been vigorously purchasing intelligent cutting equipment in recent years, which not only saves labor, but also improves the quality of clothing, but the intelligent equipment in Wuhan clothing enterprises has not yet started.

Moreover, the weakness of R & D strength has always been a major problem for Wuhan's enterprises.

Today, the design of Humen can be sold to Taiwan, but the design of Wuhan's clothing is far from going out.

"Now, garment enterprises in Wuhan have begun some reforms, such as paying great attention to hire excellent designers at home and abroad, paying attention to brand marketing and enhancing intrinsic value, but there is still a long way to go."
