    On the one hand, these achievements benefit from the better development environment at home and abroad in the past decade: China's national economy has achieved steady and rapid development, and the level of opening up has continued to improve; Before the outbreak of the financial crisis, the international market continued to prosper and the economic globalization continued to deepen, especially the global textiles in 2005 clothing The cancellation of quotas has provided good development opportunities for China's textile industry.

    Wang Tiankai: In recent years, the structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading of the textile industry have continued to advance steadily. Some new trends have emerged in the industry, and some new development achievements have been made.

    Wang Tiankai: For China's textile industry, which is undergoing transformation and upgrading, there is a lot of space for exploration and innovation in the industrial chain and value chain. At present, some new trends and characteristics are emerging in the industry development practice, such as enterprises' transnational allocation of technology, market, talents, raw materials and other resources, and the establishment of transnational procurement and supply chains; Strengthen the organic integration of resources within the enterprise, promote the in-depth combination of material input and intellectual input, and the in-depth combination of technical elements and management elements; And the innovative development of public service mode.     For example, in the case of brand building, we do not require all enterprises to do brand building. Instead, we should adjust measures to enterprise conditions and accurately position. At present, through the market allocation of resources, there are a number of international and domestic well-known brands in the industry to become the leading backbone, driving hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises to play a role in the relevant industrial chain. Under this mode, small and medium-sized enterprises have formed a harmonious industrial ecological environment by doing fine and specialized work and interacting well with large enterprises.     Wang Tiankai: Since entering the "12th Five Year Plan", the textile industry has indeed encountered some problems in its development. Especially this year, the industry operation has shown a trend of overall decline in production and marketing, efficiency, and investment growth. Some enterprises have more difficulties.


    It is easy to see from the current external situation that, due to the considerable depth and complexity of the follow-up impact of the 2008 international financial crisis, the external environment faced by the textile industry throughout the "12th Five Year Plan" period will be complex and changeable, with many risk factors, and various internal contradictions and problems in the industry will become more prominent, which makes the industry face unprecedented challenges.


    But at the same time, there are also many favorable conditions for the development of the industry. For example, in Economics In terms of growth structure, many enterprises still rely heavily on the pull of market demand, and the development mode of independent endogenous growth has not yet formed.


    In terms of resource allocation structure, many enterprises still focus on material and human resources, and the input of knowledge, technology and intelligence is obviously insufficient; The resource and environment consuming growth mode of some enterprises has not been completely changed, and the contradiction between industrial development and resource and environment constraints has not been well solved.


    In terms of regional layout structure, the production capacity of the textile industry is still concentrated in several major provinces along the eastern coast where the carrying capacity of resources and environment has been seriously insufficient. The comparative advantage of factors in the central and western regions has not yet been fully translated into real productivity. In terms of organizational structure, small and medium-sized enterprises occupy the main body of the textile industry. Many simple processing and manufacturing links are still at the low end of the industrial chain.     To solve these structural contradictions, it is necessary to further deepen the adjustment of industrial structure fundamentally, accelerate industrial upgrading, substantially transform the mode of economic development, promote the transformation of the industry to a scientific development mode driven by innovation, endogenous growth, resource conservation, environment-friendly, efficient and intensive, and realize the fundamental upgrading of the textile industry from large to strong.
