The annual output of clothing has exceeded 80 million sets (pieces), with an annual production value of 3 billion yuan, nearly 100 thousand people directly engaged in garment industry, and 500 enterprises with independent brands.
In 2008, the 27 District garment enterprises realized output value of 3 billion yuan and sales revenue of 2 billion 980 million yuan, accounting for 30% and 26% of the total industry respectively.

Among them, branding is to enhance the added value and popularity of Zhengzhou's trousers by creating famous brands; serialization is to further improve the industry and product mix through elongating the industrial chain; specialization refers to promoting the deep division of labor among enterprises, taking the specialized, fine and fine road; internationalization is to develop industries with an international perspective, participate in world competition with an international mind, and gradually upgrade Zhengzhou women's trousers from China to the world.
The 27 District, taking the title of "China's women's trousers city" as an opportunity, is currently building "one mansion, one garden and one base", namely, building the Chinese trousers industry building in the core area of the 27 business circles, introducing the famous clothing enterprises headquarters at home and abroad, and implementing e-commerce and online shopping, forming a "three points" mode of display, trading and distribution, building a platform for the high-end industry activities such as new product distribution, product exhibition and so on, and building the 27 industrial garment garden of the South Third Ring Road, attracting high-end clothing design companies and talents to enter, providing intellectual support for the development of women's pants, promoting the development of industrial clusters, planning the construction of nearly 1000 mu of clothing production base near South Fourth Ring Road, expanding the production market, and cultivating and introducing upstream and downstream supporting industrial chains.
How to break through the bottleneck of industry
In the rapid development of China's textile and garment industry, many industrial cluster areas have been formed. These areas, which are suitable for resource allocation, reflect the characteristics of high industrial concentration, outstanding product characteristics, large number of enterprises, obvious scale benefits, and interaction between industry and market. At present, the total economic volume of these areas has accounted for more than 70% of the total textile and apparel economy in the country.
According to Chen Shujin, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association, since 2002, the China Textile Industry Association began to pilot industrial clusters based on county and regional economy and promoted industrial upgrading as the core content.
At present, including 27 districts of the "Chinese women's pants city", there are 164 counties to join the pilot ranks.
While playing the role of the main force in the industry, industrial clusters also showed strong vitality in resisting the world financial crisis since last year.
But objectively speaking, its development bottleneck still needs to be broken through.
For example, its development level is still low, and it is still at the low end of the value chain; in the cluster, the level of labor division in the upstream and downstream industries needs to be improved; the level of enterprise development is uneven; the "scattered, chaotic and small" situation is widespread; the disorderly competition among enterprises is widespread; the level of professional service institutions is low, and the supporting service networks still need to be vigorously cultivated; and the correlation and complementarity between industrial clusters and their regional and global industrial chains are not strong enough.
Since last year, the textile industry has accelerated the pace of pferring to the central region.
From 1 to July this year, the fixed assets investment of textile industry above Designated Size in the central region accounted for 30.64% of the whole country, and the growth rate was 14.78 percentage points higher than that of the whole country.
Du Yuzhou, President of China Textile Industry Association, believes that in the process of industrial cluster development, the local government has great potential. Specifically, it is to build 5 platforms for public services: first, product development, two quality monitoring, three information construction, four technical training, five logistics distribution and e-commerce, and new financing guarantee.
Only by pursuing a high level at a new starting point can we avoid the problem of low level duplication in industrial agglomeration and industrial pfer.
