Pakistan Improves Competitiveness Of Textile Industry, Vietnam Actively Develops Japanese Market

The Ministry of industry of the Pakistan (NPO) and the Ministry of textiles signed a 9 million 200 thousand rupee agreement on Monday to improve the competitiveness of the textile sector and improve the quality of the international market.
Pakistan's Federal Minister of textiles, Hitam Xia ha Ding, signed the signing ceremony of the agreement.
The chief executive officer of the national productivity organization of the Ministry of industry of Pakistan, Rachid, signed the agreement with the company committee to establish quality standards in the textile industry.
The basic objectives of the project will be to improve the textile sector, such as cotton gin, knitting and knitting sewing.
With the implementation of the project, the competitiveness of Bangladesh will be determined at the current level compared with international industries, especially Bangladesh, China, India and Vietnam.
Therefore, the focus of the study will be on factors affecting the competitiveness of the sector, helping textile legislators to prepare industrial future activities.
In the past, the national productivity organization also carried out benchmarking systems for various departments.
With the implementation of the project, the expert group of the national productivity organization will enforce recent practice to monitor the pre established time frame and ensure quality balance.
To this end, foreign experts will also visit Pakistan to spread the overall productivity between industrialists and productive practitioners.
Vietnam exported $1 billion 50 million to textiles in Japan in the first 7 months.
Japan has been Vietnam's third largest trading partner and the two largest export market in recent years.
The bilateral trade between Vietnam and Japan in 2011 amounted to US $21 billion, of which Vietnamese products exported to Japan amounted to US $11 billion, up 39% from the same period last year.
The bilateral trade between Vietnam and Japan in the first 7 months of this year amounted to US $14 billion, of which Vietnam's exports to Japan amounted to US $7 billion, and the amount of imports from Japan amounted to US $6 billion.
Vietnam exported the most important products to Japan in the first 7 months of this year, including crude oil ($1 billion 600 million) and
textile
(US $1 billion 50 million), accounting for 21.6% and 13.9% of the total value of Vietnam's exports to Japanese products.
After nearly 40 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, Japan has become an important partner of Vietnam in many fields such as politics, economy, trade, investment and tourism. The two countries signed assistance in 2009 to build a strategic partnership.
According to Mr.Masaaki Okano, the representative of Japanese Asia New Power, Vietnamese enterprises should actively study the Japanese market, especially the quality requirements, design aspects and relevant laws and regulations of the products, so as to promote Vietnamese goods to enter the Japanese market.
