Studio in Manhattan, New York, made an exclusive interview with the legendary fashion queen.

When it comes to Sina micro-blog, Diane is proud of her 600 thousand fans, and Google Glass on DVF show is one of the biggest highlights of this fashion week.

Reporter: what is the inspiration of this season's fashion show?

DVF: the theme of this season's DVF show is called "Palazzo" (Palazzo represents the independence of city girls, sexy, and the attitude of working hard). I imagine myself to be a young princess who travels around. I follow my footsteps to see the charming city of Rome and Morocco.

This season is full of bright colors, the color of the sunset, the color of traditional ethnic robes. I seem to be able to feel these distinctive colors as if they are on Broadway stage.

Highly integrated with fashion, the Google glasses that you appear in this season can be said to be one of the biggest highlights of New York fashion week. Do you think technology can bring different inspiration to design?

DVF: the progress of science and technology today is beyond imagination, and technology has become a part of the history of social development.

I think it's very natural to apply technology to design, because fashion reflects the whole era, and the integration of technology and fashion is also the trend.

Reporter: what criteria are there for the selection of show music?

DVF: we have special people to choose music. I don't really care much about myself, but I have my own principles in selecting music. I hope my show music is optimistic and positive.

Many fashion shows do not allow models to smile. In my show, I ask every model to keep smiling. I will make their hairstyles natural and random. The whole theme is like a celebration of freedom.

Reporter: DVF.

The series has been loved by all of you. These series of accessories are becoming stronger and stronger. Can you say something about the accessories?

DVF: this season's accessories and handbags are very interesting. They use a lot of decorations, metal balls, chains, and so on. Round handbags also use a lot of decorations. They look like jewellery.

Reporter: Chinese models frequently appear on the international stage. In your show, there are also Chinese models. How do you feel about working with Chinese models? What do you think of Oriental beauty?

DVF: I like Chinese women, and I like Chinese models. They look really beautiful.

The Oriental beauty in my eyes is full of mystery, feminine and independent spirit. These are all in keeping with the spirit of DVF, so I think the charm of Chinese models and DVF is really in tune.

Reporter: we know that you have Sina micro-blog, what is the feeling of using Sina micro-blog? Is there anything that you remember deeply?

DVF: I like micro-blog very much. Do you know how many fans I have on micro-blog? There are more than 600 thousand! The information spread on micro-blog is very fast, though I don't know Chinese, but I brush micro-blog every day.

Reporter: as a designer, as a successful woman, you have done many things for fashion circles and public welfare. What is the driving force for you to continue to fight like this?

DVF: what is my motivation? It's hard to say. I was thinking about myself yesterday. If I could find the source of strength, maybe I wouldn't sell clothes. (laughs)

Reporter: after all these years of fashion show, which part is the most difficult for you?

DVF: I think the most difficult part is sorting and selecting. You have to decide what you want to show on the stage.

Reporter: in your eyes, what are the characteristics of the four fashion week (New York, London, Paris, Milan)?

DVF; if separately summarized, New York is more about lifestyle, London is an avant-garde personality, Paris is graceful charm, and Milan, uh...

I think it's between the two London and New York.
