< p > recently, China Leather Development Forum and China Leather Association Annual Conference of leather Specialized Committee were held in Chengdu.

The conference was co sponsored by China Leather Association, China leather and footwear industry research institute, and China Leather Association leather Specialized Committee and China Leather magazine Co., Ltd., CO organized by Sichuan Kenuo crystal Biotechnology Co., Ltd.

Shi P, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering and director of the National Engineering Laboratory of tannery cleaner technology, Sichuan University, first made a keynote speech entitled "new ideas on tannery technology".

In his speech, academician Shi emphasized the shortage of scientific and technological innovation in leather industry, analyzed the different functions of scientific research institutes and enterprises in scientific and technological innovation, and cited examples of technological innovation of foreign excellent enterprises to illustrate the importance of establishing scientific research personnel in enterprises.

Shi also advised the China Leather Association to continue to communicate with the relevant departments of the state to solve the problem of the flow of tannery solid waste. It suggested that the tannery Specialized Committee, Specialized Committee and leather chemical Specialized Committee jointly hold a meeting to jointly discuss the development of tannery technology.

He stressed that this work is related to the development prospect of leather industry. We hope that all tannery enterprises will read the draft of admittance conditions conscientiously and put forward amendments according to their own conditions, and timely feedback to the staff members of tannery special committee.

Su Chaoying, chairman of China Leather Association, briefed P on the overall index and operational characteristics of China's leather industry in 1-8 this year, introduced the operation characteristics of various branches, and discussed the main problems and solutions to the development of the industry.

Director general Su pointed out that under the influence of the great environment, although the leather industry in China is relatively stable, the downward pressure is enormous.

China Leather Association will actively make suggestions to relevant departments of the state, strive for relevant policies to support the development of the industry, and cooperate with relevant government departments to eliminate backward production capacity, check environmental protection, and publicize standards, so as to ensure stable development of the industry.

< p > Yang Chengjie, Dean of China leather and footwear industry research institute, summed up two main contradictions in the leather industry: one is the contradiction between the limited raw material resources and the increasing demand for leather products; the two is the contradiction between people's dependence on leather products and irrational criticism of leather making.

President Yang suggested that trade personnel should actively explore the supply channels of raw leather, and at the same time improve the quality of low-grade raw materials to improve the shortage of raw materials by improving technology. He also appealed to various organizations in the industry to increase publicity efforts to the leather industry, reversing the impression of "high pollution" by government departments and people, creating an objective policy space and public opinion space for the leather industry.

He reviewed the work of tanning special committee in 2012 from the aspects of self construction of the leather making Committee, doing well the role of government and industry, strengthening industry research, and making good suggestions for the government, strengthening the brand building of the industry and serving the industry well. At the same time, he made a special introduction to the key work of the environmental protection and self-discipline action group of the leather industry in the past year.

Finally, Secretary General Chen notified the delegates of the leather industry special committee's key work plan in 2013.
