    Very dangerous high-heeled sandals Heel height: 11.5cm


    The reporter then tested a pair of high heel sandals with a heel height of 11.5cm. In a relaxed state, the vertical distance between the bottom of the right foot and the floor inside the vehicle is 8 cm. The reporter pressed the brake pedal to the maximum extent, and the vertical distance between the sole of the foot and the ground inside the car was 7 cm, with a drop of 1 cm. Because the heel is high, when it is loose, the whole heel is already parallel to the ground in the car, and the heel is almost completely "prone" to the ground. When downward force is applied, because the heel is stuck in the gap between the pedal and the ground, the pedal can only be slightly depressed.


    Then, the reporter moved his right foot left and right to switch between the brake and the accelerator. Since the heel was "lying" on the ground inside the car, it was very inconvenient to move left and right. To successfully switch between the brake and the accelerator, the reporter had to lift his foot from the brake first, and then fall back on the accelerator, which would be very dangerous in the actual driving process.


    Test conclusion: High heels with too high heels can neither step on the brake nor switch smoothly between accelerator and brake, which is very dangerous.

    The fourth pair of test shoes is a pair of sloped heel sponge sandals, with a heel height of 10 cm and a waterproof platform of about 2 cm below the front sole. In a relaxed state, the vertical distance between the sole of the reporter's right foot and the ground inside the car is 7cm. The reporter pressed the brake pedal to the maximum extent, and the vertical distance between the bottom of the reporter's foot and the ground inside the car was 5cm, with a drop of 2cm. Although it is easier to step on the brake when compared with a single high heel shoe, the reporter can hardly control the force of stepping on the brake because of the thick sole.


    Later, the reporter moved his right foot left and right again. Due to the thick sole, the conversion process was not smooth, and it was also difficult to control the force when stepping on the accelerator.


    Test conclusion: Although the braking effect of wearing slope heel shoes is better than that of single high heel shoes, it is difficult to switch between accelerator and brake smoothly, and it is also difficult to control the force, which is also very dangerous.
