The Five Step Is To Teach You To Be A Successful "Lazy" White-Collar.
Why are Chinese white-collar workers so tired? There are objective factors such as society and national development stage, but there are also many subjective factors.
Though it is hard to expect Chinese white-collar workers to live a leisurely life as mentioned above, it is still possible to be successful lazy people who do not need to work overtime frequently and balance work and life better.
I have summarized and analyzed the reasons for the busy work of Chinese white-collar workers.
First, interest is not consistent.
I once read an article saying that a young man in the United States, after serious thought and exploration, finally confirmed that he liked teaching as a major in University.
The whole family was happy for him and congratulated him on finding his interest.
But if this happens in China, parents 80% will not agree that children should choose such a cool professional, instead, he should choose a hot professional job in the future.
Indeed, career interests in China have not received enough attention and respect.
If you work in a job that you don't like, it's easy to get the following symptoms: headache at work, lack of enthusiasm for work, low efficiency, and busy performance.
Lazy man's weapon: interest plays a huge role in driving people's behavior.
Two, lack of ability
Ability is a necessary condition for a successful career, that is, having the relevant professional ability does not necessarily succeed, but lack of it will certainly not succeed.
Some people may think that diligence can make up for clumsy things.
But many abilities are innate. Relying on education, training and learning is also a half effort and may not have good results.
If you lack the space capability, you must be engaged in architectural design; you are not sensitive to numbers, but you are an accountant.
You are not only very difficult to achieve great results, but even hard work.
Lazy man's weapon: to find his own superiority ability and engage in good work.
Three.
Corporate culture
In some industries or companies of some nature, overtime is a common practice, and the employees in it are simply unable to do so.
For example, a management consulting firm such as McKinsey and an investment bank such as Morgan Stanley, who have worked for 60 to 80 hours a week for a few months in a project, are very common; the four largest auditing companies circulate "making a woman a man and making a man a beast"; when it comes to Asian companies, the first reaction of many people is to work overtime.
Lazy company: if a company can let you learn knowledge, improve your ability, and have a good development prospect, you will work overtime and pressure as the price you should pay. If you don't like this way of doing business and corporate culture, the next job is looking for a company that does not advocate overtime.
Four.
social identity
In today's society, there are some strange ideas: extreme busy and under great pressure is a sign of success; if you live too leisurely, it means you are nothing.
This idea is not only popular in China, but also in Japan and the United States.
Strange ideas lead strange behavior: leisurely people need to be busy, and even if they leave work early, they will go to the bubble bar. They are afraid that they will feel bad when they go back early. In the interview, social success people feel guilty about being busy and having no time to accompany their families.
However, it is gratifying to note that more and more people are beginning to reflect on the idea that Duan Yongping, the chairman of BBK electronics, once ranked the richest Chinese rich list 83, is right to say that if a successful person wants to accompany his family, he will surely have time. Their guilt is false; Wang Shi, chairman of Vanke, has been advocating and promoting a positive, healthy and balanced work life style: he spent three years in his work, climbed 11 snow capped mountains, climbed the top of Mount Qomolangma, and created the highest record of the 6100 meter Chinese paraglider.
Lazy guy: busy is not a sign of success. Successful lazy people will get more recognition from society.
Five, enjoy
work
In a pluralistic society, there are many kinds of ideas.
Some people work in order to earn a living, but some people really like work. For them, busy and hard work is also enjoyable.
We should also give enough understanding and respect to such values.
Lazy housekeeping: smart housewives don't put all their eggs in one basket, nor do they put all the focus of their lives on one job.
If you think about it, can you find other pleasures of your life if you don't have to work one day?
