According to the relevant person in charge of Hubei Economic Commission, industrial clusters, agglomeration and intensive development are the rules of modern industrial development. At present, the sales income of key industrial clusters in Hubei province has accounted for more than 30% of the total industry in the province.

Last year, in the 83 key industrial clusters, the number of industrial clusters with over 39 billion sales increased to 39, an increase of 9; the increase of 19 over 5 billion yuan; 80 more than 3 billion yuan, an increase of 13.

According to the statistical data of Hubei Economic Commission, 83 key growth industry clusters in the province were awarded 198 items of science and technology awards above the provincial level, an increase of 24 over the same period last year, 173 state-level high-tech enterprises, an increase of 22, 182 technical centers above the provincial level, an increase of 22, 3148 authorized patents, 310 items, and 644 research projects.
