    Ma Yun: without Chinese yellow pages, there are not many failures. We will not go to today. Under any big tree, there must be enormous nutrition. Great nutrition comes from the mistakes made by many people in this era.

When you go on this road, you should think that 95% of the people have fallen down, and why you are the lucky 5%? So if you want to live to these 5% words, you must remember that you have to learn what kinds of mistakes those fallen people make, prevent yourself from bumping into them, and then find the future rules.

       Interviewer: when do you think a company is most dangerous?

       Jack Ma Ali: six or seven years ago and 35 years ago, Ali was full of controversy. In the two months before our listing, many people thought that our company was not making money or even making money. At that time, I firmly believed that Alibaba was much better than these people imagined. But today I think we are in big trouble. When people think you are so good and you can do everything, I know we are not so good at all. Now is the most dangerous time.

       Reporter: Ali has been concentrating on making e-commerce platform, focusing on small and medium enterprises. Does this mean the correctness of Ali's strategic decision?

    Ma: 15 years ago, when we decided to do e-commerce, faced with the choice of big enterprises or small businesses, if we were to make big enterprises and earn more money, the most popular term was "e-commerce solution". If you can make big enterprises, multinational enterprises will soon be able to earn money, but through public relations means to get a project done, we think this is not our strong point.

    We believe that if the Internet is the most revolutionary technology in a century, it must have done things that could not be done yesterday. What things could not have done yesterday? It is to help those small businesses and liberate the productivity of those small businesses. So 15 years ago, we only focused on small businesses, helping small businesses, which led us to be completely different from others.

    Agam's movie tells me that no one can earn money by catching whale, but people can dig meat out of shrimp. If you want to get a little bit from everyone, you have to create technical value for everyone, and it can't be done by other technology companies. So in the past 15 years, Alibaba has only focused on small and medium-sized enterprises, and we have made numerous mistakes. Until seven or eight years ago, we became more and more aware of the fact that if you want to help small businesses, you have to build an ecosystem.

    What is the ecosystem? If we help a small enterprise to earn only thirty or forty yuan from it, how can you send people to communicate with him? How can you communicate with him and give him solutions? There are many needs for small businesses, which require logistics, integrity, information, data and payment. We can't get the whole system done, so we must introduce all kinds of partners to work together, and everyone can get a little bit of success here.

       Reporter: do you mention that IT has changed to DT, and has it enlightened entrepreneurial enterprises?

       Ma Yun: to do business in twenty-first Century, it is very important to make good use of IT. In this century, enterprises must do well in DT.

    The core idea of IT is to make ourselves stronger and stronger. The faster data information gets, the more powerful I am, the more money I have, the stronger I am. The IT era was born with numerous giants. You can only reverse the DT era. The stronger the others, the stronger you can be. In the era of IT to DT, an important sign of the next 20 to 30 years is how your thoughts help others succeed.

    DT era is very important to experience, the experience is very interesting, is the feeling. We talked about a lot of services in twentieth Century, in fact, what customers want is not service, but what customers want is experience. Experience is a great skill in this century. This skill is not owned by an engineer, not by a boss. In the last century, intelligence quotient has been put together. EQ is the essence of this century.
