Chu Yan believes that China is a country with a long history. At the same time, the dress of each nation has its own characteristics. Designers can not stick to the dress of a dynasty or a certain nation, and must think and design based on the concept of a large Chinese culture.
For example, during the Han and Tang Dynasties, the clothing had an atmosphere of great beauty; during the song and Ming Dynasties, the costumes were elegant and simple.

Chu Yan said that Chinese designers want to inherit Chinese culture in design, and the most important thing is to truly understand Chinese culture, rather than simply using what kind of structure and symbols to represent Chinese culture.
