According to the organizers, there are 281 exhibitors in the exhibition. The total number of booths is 313, with an exhibition area of 6000 square meters.

On the morning of the opening day, Wang Hongbo, assistant counsellor of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney, and deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, Jiang Hua, accompanied by Vice President of the China Textiles Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, Zhang Xinmin, visited the exhibition.
Zhang Xinmin pointed out that Australia is one of China's important export markets for textile and clothing.
In recent years, the textile and garment trade between China and Australia has maintained a good momentum of development.
The upcoming Sino Australian FTA agreement will provide greater opportunities and room for development of Sino Australian textile and clothing trade.
In the case of unfavorable recovery in European and American markets, China's textile and garment enterprises should intensify their efforts to develop markets like Australia with growth potential and stable trade environment.
According to statistics, in recent years, Sino Australian textile and clothing trade has increased rapidly, bilateral textile and garment trade volume has increased from US $1 billion 150 million in 2001 to US $5 billion 420 million in 2014, and has increased 4.7 times in 14 years, with an average annual growth rate of 11.7%.
With the good momentum of textile trade between Australia and China, the Australian exhibition has gradually become the word of mouth exhibition of Australian textile and apparel industry from the initial general exhibition platform.
While experiencing baptism and pformation, the Australian exhibition also brings more opportunities and hopes to China's export-oriented export enterprises.
The exhibition took only half a day, and Ma Ying, the general manager of Beijing Hong bite Clothing Co., received more than a dozen businessmen from Australia, which made her very excited: "this is our first time to participate in the exhibition.

According to Ma Ying, her company is one of the suppliers of Seed, a famous clothing brand in Australia. This year's participation in the Australian exhibition is mainly aimed at meeting more powerful merchants at the exhibition and further expanding the export scale to the local market.
"Now, passenger flow and customer quality are more satisfying."
Ma Ying said.
Jiangsu manno import and Export Co., Ltd. was also unveiled for the first time. The company has received more than 20 merchants.
Wang Jianxin, chairman of the company, said: "although the size of the Australian market is small, it has a unique advantage.
For example, the economy here is relatively stable, and because of the southern hemisphere, Australia's demand for off-season products can enable enterprises to fully mobilize the capacity of off-season production. "
In recent years, due to the rising labor costs, competition between Chinese textile enterprises and Southeast Asian enterprises has become increasingly fierce.
In order to enhance the competitiveness of the market, exhibitors have intensified their research and development efforts and launched the exhibition.
