Chen Xing'S Interpretation Of Cross Border Designer'S Cultural Experience
Chen Xing, a top student from the Architectural Department of Tsinghua University, played a design across the border and played a different new field.
He found his own direction from the restoration of ancient buildings, and more and more borrowed the essence of classical design.
Chen Xing's independent design brand "Peter Fu" has attracted a number of international customers including the president of Harvard Design Institute, the former DIOR global CEO, CELINE Asia Pacific CEO, Namibia first lady, and a number of loyal pumps have been set up in the domestic circles.
After graduating from the Department of architecture of Tsinghua University, Chen Xing worked as an architect for two years in Hongkong office.

After a short period of work in Hongkong, Chen Xing decided to go to Milan, the capital of world design in 2009, and he also studied architecture related majors.
But at that time, Chen Xing began to think about fashion design, so he often traveled to clothing stores in Milan.
Milan has a strong artistic atmosphere, and Italy's brand is doing very well because Italians are particularly confident in their national culture.
After returning from Milan, Chen started to work at the Tsinghua cultural insurance office.
Personally participating in the restoration of ancient buildings, Chen Xing further enriched the understanding of Chinese classical aesthetics, but Chen Xing did not do it at once. On the one hand, he needed to learn some knowledge and technology in clothing industry, on the other hand, he wanted to know what the design style of his costume was.
It can be said that the creation of "Peter" is a deliberate decision.
In 2013, "BIFU by XING CHEN" started in a very deep quadrangle in Beijing Hutong.
Chen Xing chose such a Qing Dynasty ancient building as his fashion space, and on the basis of keeping the original appearance of the ancient architecture as far as possible, he added some modern design symbols which paid more attention to the human experience, and presented an artistic conception of returning to the simple and ancient times.
He hoped that people could not only wear historical context, but also feel the traces of related cultural heritage in his space.
The "vogue" fashion space has also been specially selected into the "LV" Global Limited 3000 City Guidet and Beijing must go to the fashion destination.

Inheriting the combination of traditional culture and modern design
The architect's professional training and professional characteristics are pragmatic and have some illusions and romanticism. Therefore, when they choose to change careers, they will use their rational side to manage their own affairs, while developing their perceptual side.
Chen's positioning is a major international brand in China. He hopes that "Fu Fu" is not only an independent designer brand, but rather a brand with cultural representativeness, cultural responsibility and cultural output.
Therefore, many of the original intentions of "Peter Fu" are interpreted from the perspective of cultural reconstruction or reconstruction. Chen Xing still hopes that it can pursue beyond clothes.
The reason why the brand is named "Fu Fu", Chen Xing believes that "Fu Fu" combines many images, and the other has the feeling of "the other shore". For example, the reed on the other shore, the wind is blowing with the ethereal image, and there is a sense of beauty far away from the water side, conveying a sense of pursuit.

To this end, one of the questions Chen is constantly thinking about is how to integrate Chinese classical aesthetics and modern fashion design skillfully.
"In fact, there are many design concepts in ancient China, which are also advanced today. For example, ancient dress design will focus on the decoration and ornamentation of a garment on the shoulders and chest, which is different from the ancient European design concepts. The reason for this difference is that the difference between Chinese and European and American people is different."
While drawing on the beauty of ancient design, Chen Xing's idea is to refer more to ancient times.
"We are not only Han and Tang, but we can say that ancient China not only had Han costume, but also the design style of some nomadic people in northern China."
These ideas were successfully integrated into Chen Xing's works. In 2014, he launched the first season of the brand, and all the designs of his clothes drew on the frescoes of the Northern Dynasties. Chen Xing also won the excellent young original designer of the 2014 Beijing international design week by virtue of this work.
The design was based on a northern frescos that he had accidentally seen from a friend. He asked his friend for a full set of pictures to be pieced together on Photoshop.
"I was very surprised when I saw the picture, and the first jacket I made was liked by many people. Some people even bought a special photo after they saw it, and there were also some star agents asking for it."
Many people will be asked about this frescoes after they see clothes, especially many foreigners are very interested.
Design works to pick up the elements of Chinese culture, and use modern technology to interpret the freedom and vitality of Chinese culture.
Chen Xing feels that this is a cultural output and a way of revitalized culture.
Chinese culture is deep, and the elements that can be retrieved are very rich.
The design of "Fu Fu" should not only inherit traditional culture, but also have modern design elements.
It is impossible for the young people to go back to the age of their grandparents, and the antiquity has the sense of rejection. "We need to embrace the times and let the traditional Chinese culture be deducted in the modern design language."
