However, NPE is a globally recognized environmental hormone with persistence and bioaccumulation. Once released into the environment, it will last for a long time, and can enter the food chain, affecting the normal reproduction and development of organisms.

Industry analysis, because NPE is the most commonly used detergent and dyeing auxiliaries in the textile industry, more than 50% of the textile products in the market are unable to meet the European NPE limit requirements, in which printing and dyeing, leather, chemical fiber and other enterprises are particularly prominent, so more than half of the products or face the risk of elimination.
