Shenzhen Spot Checks 24 Batches Of Motor Vehicle Child Occupant Restraint System Products Failed 2 Batches
In February 20, 2019, the Shenzhen municipal market supervision and Administration Bureau notified the results of quality supervision and inspection of children's restraint system for motor vehicle occupants in 2018.
A total of 14 batches of 24 batches of products sold on the Internet shopping platform were inspected, and 96 items were inspected. 2 batches of unqualified samples, 4 items of substandard items were found, 8.3% of the unqualified products were found, and 4.2% of the unqualified items were found.
According to the circular, in 2018, the Shenzhen municipal market supervision and Administration Bureau organized a product quality supervision and spot check on the restraint system of motor vehicle children occupants sold on the Internet in Shenzhen.
Based on the national standard "motor vehicle child occupant restraint system" (GB27887-2011), the spot checks were carried out on the dynamic test of the restraint system for occupants of motor vehicles, the carrying capacity, identification and instruction manual, etc.
Analysis of the results of spot checks of unqualified items found that the "identification" item failed 2 times, and found that the "specification" failed 2 times.
Zhengzhou Hong Bei Polytron Technologies Inc (nominal) production of 1 batches of "Venbothe" vehicle child occupants restraint system products (model specification: HB-16; production date: October 2017) samples, Shenzhen NBB Baby Products Co., Ltd. (nominal) production of 1 batches of "Baby Deer" vehicle child occupants restraint system products (model specification: no specific type; production date: May 2015) samples, were identified, the specification project is not qualified.
The spot checks also found that the products of Shenzhen's Bei Kang Baby Products Co., Ltd. had no relevant mandatory product certification information, and were suspected to have been sold and sold without authorization.
Shenzhen market supervision and Administration Bureau said that the product quality problems found in spot checks have been dealt with according to the relevant laws and regulations.
