China Textile Federation Goes To Kunming Institute To Investigate Non Heritage Cooperation Projects

In March 24th, Sun Huaibin, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation and Liu Zhijun, director of Industry Department of Yunnan Provincial Department of cultural tourism, went to Kunming Institute to investigate the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

The two sides carry out a discussion on the inheritance and innovation of Kunming's textile intangible cultural heritage around the "revitalization plan of traditional Chinese arts", and explore effective ways to revitalize the textile traditional crafts and industrial development in Kunming's ethnic minority areas, and promote cooperation and exchanges between colleges and industries, inheritors and enterprises.

Sun Huaibin, vice chairman of the board of directors and director Zhang Jiazhou, introduced the situation of China Textile Industry Federation and Yunnan intangible cultural heritage in detail, and indicated that the Federation of Chinese textile industry hopes to cooperate with the school to build a platform to absorb more resources, so that there will be new development of non Heritage Inheritance work.

He said that the Kunming college is based on Yunnan's local characteristics. It should give full play to the advantages of talents in Colleges and universities, build a platform for the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage, find representative cultural resources in corresponding areas, build a team of designers, enterprise brands and independent inheritors, and actively promote the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.

Vice President Guo Hua stressed that the Kunming Institute is a comprehensive applied local university. Based on Kunming, it studies Kunming and serves Kunming, and is committed to training applied talents who are quick, effective and innovative, and can quickly meet the needs of enterprises after enterprises.

At the same time, the school has set up an innovation and entrepreneurship course to enable students to learn basic knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship, so as to prepare for future employment.

Vice President Guo Hua pointed out that the students of the art school started from the basic process weaving, embroidery and dyeing. They incorporated elements of Yunnan minority textile into their works, combining traditional crafts with modern technology, highlighting national characteristics and promoting the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage.
