Luxury Brands Accelerate Digital Transformation GUCCI Strategic Cooperation Tencent
According to media reports, Italy's luxury brand GUCCI today announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with the Tencent to formulate a digital strategic framework. The two sides will jointly promote innovation and development in the fields of animal networking, artificial intelligence, data science, intelligent retailing, content generation and digital thinking.
Marco Bizzarri, President and chief executive of GUCCI, said that the current technology and innovation technology provide great possibilities for the digital sector to achieve a deeper, more personalized and customized brand community experience.
Statistics show that before the formal strategic cooperation was reached, GUCCI and Tencent jointly launched the "Gucci inspiration map" short film series. The short film series combines documentary and drama forms, invites several Chinese stars to collaborate with GUCCI in the global multi creative field, exploring and presenting the brand value of GUCCI.
In addition, according to the media, in the middle of November, the British luxury brand Burberry announced that it would develop the Chinese social retail market with its sole cooperation Tencent. Specifically, Burberry will open a social retail store in Shenzhen in the first half of 2020. It will provide technical support from Tencent. It will serve as a link between consumers' social networking and internet life and the physical environment, and set up digital and entity spaces with interaction, sharing and shopping.
