On October 10, under the spotlight of Shanghai International Fashion Week, Govan KIDS joined hands with 93 year old Thangka master Gamadler to open the prelude of the "Tibetan Black Gold" public welfare action, committed to supporting Yongguoma Youth Vocational Training School in Yushu Prefecture, Qinghai Province, and inheriting the brilliant intangible cultural heritage of Tibetan art Thangka.

In a welfare home in Yushu, Qinghai, the story of Dawa and Zhuoma is like a ray of sunshine, warming people's hearts. The young Zhuoma has an indissoluble bond with the sponsor Mulan. In 2017, two children decided to take a Thangka of the Yellow God of Wealth as a blessing gift. Dawa said, "The god of wealth Huang should hand over to the recipient, and the Thangka can't be landed." They set out from Yushu, and after more than 30 hours of turbulence, escorted the Thangka all the way to Shanghai. This pure friendship is as precious as the Thangka in their hands.

Zhuoma and Dawa's welfare home has another name - Yushu Most Cow Orphanage. During the 2010 Yushu earthquake, the sturdy building did not collapse due to the supervisor of President Bai Ridaile, which directly saved the lives of 105 orphans. In 2022, Dean Dale died by accident. When Mulan was recalling her old friends, she found that Dean Dale would often pay his own money to support Tangka School - Yushu Yongguoma Youth Vocational School.

Yushu Yongguo Youth Vocational School is located in Jiangxi Village, Xiaosumang Township, in the southeast of Yushu City, at the junction of Qinghai Province and Tibet. The altitude here is high, and the winter is long and cold. In 2014, the social caring people Gong Xia Kanbu and Berederle founded Yushu Yongguoma Youth Vocational Training School to teach children Thangka skills free of charge. It is a research base for the inheritance of Tibetan culture and skills. Students here More than 130, the conditions are difficult. The boys' dormitories collectively lay on the floor, and water leaks in many places in summer. There is also no canteen. Usually, painting and dining are all done in the classroom. Three meals a day for students are basically maintained by donations of materials, rice, flour, oil, etc. from outsiders. The school depends on the donations of social caring people, and Dean Dale is one of the caring people. Donating to Thangka School is Dean Dale's last wish. At the age of 93, Master Gamadler is in this school. He has received more than 600 apprentices for free, which is also a promising school. Students from here have spread all over the country. This dress is co branded by Govan and 93 year old Tangka master Gamadler, "Hiding Land Heijin" selects two totems in Thangka, Ruyi Treasure and Wisdom Sword. The placket is designed with Ruyi Treasure, which means good fortune and wisdom. The jewel on Ruyi Treasure is said to be able to cure all diseases, and also has the meaning of health. When the master knew that the pattern was for children, he selected the most representative totem, and combined Govan's logo with the sword of wisdom in the Thangka on his hat. For this reason, Govan KIDS promises to donate part of its sales to schools by selling the "Tibetan Black Gold" series of children's clothing to support the inheritance of Thangka intangible cultural heritage.
