In the afternoon of November 26, Zhou Qinhua, member of the Party Committee of Meili Town, Changshu City, Jiangsu Province, Wang Chen, deputy mayor of Meili Town, Lu Weiyu, director of the Economic Development Office of Meili Town, Cao Yucheng, secretary of the village committee of Zhaijiao Village, Meili Town, and Wang Hengye, general manager of Jiangsu Huada New Material Technology Co., Ltd. visited China Knitting Industry Association and had a discussion. Wang Chen, deputy mayor of Meili Town, introduced the situation of the knitting (textile) industry in Meili Town in the past year and its future orientation and development direction. Lin Yunfeng, President of China Knitting Industry Association, Zhang Xicheng, Vice President of China Knitting Industry Association, and Li Hong respectively talked about their ideas and feelings from the international situation, regional industrial layout, digital technology innovation, and public service platform building.

Meili Town of Changshu City is the first group of knitting industry with output value exceeding 10 billion yuan in China, and is also the largest production base of cashmere products in China. Meili Town has nearly 700 above and below the designated size needle (textile) weaving enterprises, including 87 above the designated size enterprises, which are respectively involved in printing and dyeing, clothing, home textile, industrial use and other directions, and are mainly exported to the European and American markets. Changshu Qunying Knitting Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Executive Vice President of Warp Knitting Branch of China Knitting Industry Association, and Jiangsu Huada New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Vice President of Warp Knitting Branch of China Knitting Industry Association, also won the title of high-quality printing and dyeing enterprise.
