Analysis Of Ten Trends Of Global Buyers' Online Purchasing
In March 18th, the China Electronic Commerce Research Center officially released the 2009-2010 year survey report on global buyers' online purchasing behavior. It is reported that the report is also the first systematic and detailed survey of global buyers' online purchasing behavior in China.
Under the background of financial crisis, more and more enterprises begin to try new models and new channels of e-procurement, which not only can solve the problem of black box operation in the traditional human purchasing process, but also greatly reduce the procurement cost of enterprises, promote the innovation of purchasing and supply chain management, and create new competitive power for enterprises.
Just as this survey is in the post crisis era, the China Electronic Commerce Research Center has found the following ten trends:
(1) online and offline purchasing trends
Nowadays, although network procurement has been favored by major enterprises.
However, in the traditional way of purchasing, enterprises still play a great role by virtue of their many years of purchasing experience and accumulated suppliers.
At present, many enterprises take advantage of online and offline purchasing methods to complement each other.
It can be seen that this way will become a mainstream purchasing trend of enterprises in the future.
(two) the trend of integration of specialization and integrated B2B platform.
For buyers, how to choose electronic trading platform is very important.
At present, all major enterprises are more interested in B2B purchasing platform, such as global resources, Alibaba, China manufacturing network, business treasure and other industries, covering a wide range of suppliers.
The specialized e-procurement platform, which relies on the natural advantages of many suppliers and so on, is also favored by enterprises. Both have their own advantages, and no one can replace them.
Therefore, the integration of specialization and integrated e-procurement platform will become a trend.
(three) small foreign trade platform is favored by buyers.
Affected by the financial crisis, the purchasing behavior of overseas buyers is changing.
Foreign small wholesalers are short and small bills with high frequency, which replace the large and medium-sized wholesalers' long lists and large orders.
The emergence of a large number of overseas grassroots buyers is promoting the pformation of the "made in China" trading mode. This brings high-speed development opportunities to the e-business platform with the core of small payment online pactions, such as Dunhuang network (DHgate) and Alibaba global Alibaba (Express).
However, because small foreign trade is traded on "selling products", the normal goods that originally collected foreign exchange and commodity inspection and quarantine should be sold abroad as samples. In the four major foreign trade fields, such as customs, foreign exchange, taxation and intellectual property rights, e-commerce platform is likely to have greater legal risks.
(four) the ASEAN Free Trade Area has become the buyer's purchasing trend.
In January 1, 2010, the China ASEAN free trade area was officially launched in the world's largest free trade area.
Between China and ASEAN 10 countries, more than 90% or 7000 products will be subject to zero tariff.
ASEAN e-commerce is developing rapidly. With the opening of the free trade area, ASEAN will undoubtedly become an important channel for buyers to purchase.
(five) customized procurement trend
Historically, consumers only passively accept the product design, function and characteristics that others consider appropriate.
In the future consumer world, what we see is that consumers are more and more involved in the decision of their own needs, and then produce a growing trend of product customization.
Many products are not produced as large as today, but are produced in small quantities, based on specific design requirements.
(six) small and medium buyers are becoming the main trend of the future Internet buyers.
With the deepening of the financial crisis, China's e-commerce research center has found that the pattern of foreign trade has undergone profound changes, and the pattern of controlling foreign trade by some minority importers has been loosened.
Some new small and medium-sized importers are trying to import trade.
Overseas buyers' purchasing behavior has changed, from large, concentrated and long-term purchases to small, scattered and short-term purchases.
Foreign small wholesalers' short lists and small ones are the main trend of the future.
(seven) buyers show the trend of purchasing goods with high price performance.
The survey found that consumers at home and abroad demand higher price performance ratio of goods.
Therefore, buyers must constantly search for new products and differentiate themselves from competitors so as to maintain a higher profit margin and avoid the vicious price war caused by homogenization of products between buyers and buyers.

Traditional procurement methods and channels are relatively simple, but now with the gradual popularity of network procurement.
The mode of online purchase is also developing rapidly towards diversification. First of all, the combination of global procurement and localization procurement means that enterprises choose the global market as the choice to find the most suitable suppliers instead of being confined to a certain area.
(nine) a general emphasis on the social responsibility environment for the procurement of goods.
According to statistics, over 200 multinational companies have formulated and implemented the code of corporate social responsibility, requiring suppliers and contract workers to observe labour standards extensively, arrange company staff or entrust independent audit institutions to conduct regular on-site assessment of their contract factories, that is, factory certification or factory inspection that we often talk about.
(ten) low carbon and environmental protection as the necessary conditions for international procurement.
With the advent of the "low carbon era", people's awareness of environmental protection has been enhanced. Especially in Europe and America, environmental protection has been attached great importance.
Therefore, whether the product is environmentally friendly or low carbon has become a necessary condition for buyers to choose suppliers.
To ensure the environmental protection of the production process is the breakthrough point that Chinese suppliers should pay special attention to and strengthen in the future enterprise production.
