After last year's export slump, the footwear industry in Quanzhou has made frequent efforts to pform itself in response to change and try to undertake foreign orders, extending to the development and production of women's shoes with more value added, creating a rapid increase of 43.55% in the first two months of this year.

Earlier, in the thousands of shoe export enterprises in our city, children's shoes, sports shoes, slippers and leather shoes occupied the main share of export products, while the share of women's shoes exported products was very few.

Data show that from 1 to February this year, the Quanzhou inspection and quarantine department inspected 13 thousand and 300 batches of export footwear and 409 million yuan worth of goods, representing an increase of 37.72% and 43.55% respectively over the same period last year.

Last year, the inspection and Quarantine Department of our city inspected 601 million pairs of export footwear, valued at $2 billion 399 million, and the number of exports and goods increased by -8.9% and -6.8%.

The industry believes that this year's spring shoe orders have made rapid progress, in addition to the overseas market warmer, the more important reason is that since last year, the shoe enterprises in Guangdong have been developing new order sources by undertaking the order pfer from the bankrupt shoe enterprises in China and setting up business organizations overseas.

At the end of last year, through the recommendation of friends, the manager of the foreign trade department of our sporting goods Co., Ltd. took orders from several bankrupt enterprises in Guangdong.

He told reporters that the current order to undertake the pfer of Guangdong has accounted for nearly 30% of the total enterprise orders, although orders from foreign countries have declined, but the order of many shoe enterprises in Guangdong has failed to make up for overseas orders.

The proportion of women's shoes increased sharply.

"Trying to develop and produce women's shoes is a major pformation target for this year's business. The company plans to make up 10% of the total orders by the end of the year."

From the original export of sports shoes to this year's pformation, based on the reasons for the difference in product orders, manager Ren made such a steady pformation decision.

He told reporters that the current coastal sports shoes factory is gradually moving to Jiangxi, Sichuan and other inland areas.

Especially in this year's rapid development of logistics and pportation, the price advantage of inland sports shoes enterprises will become more obvious.

Relative sports shoes, women's shoes making technology is more complex and more profitable, so many enterprises in Quanzhou actively try to pform production of women's shoes. Women's shoes and casual shoes are expected to become the future development direction of shoemaking enterprises in our city.

The production process requirements are higher.

If we want to think of Guangdong as a place where orders are everywhere, we will enter the wrong area of production.

In fact, not all orders are suitable for our city's "taste".

According to the insiders, the production of women's shoes is quite different from that of sports shoes in terms of production technology. From the inspection items, the endurance, wear resistance, peeling strength and hardness of women's shoes have higher requirements.

"Once the hot pressing fails to meet the requirements of the production process, or the use of leather shoes adhesives which are not up to standard in the production process, it may cause the batch of women's shoes to be used as glue."

In addition, Guangdong's "splitting up" orders include not only Quanzhou enterprises, but also enterprises such as Wenzhou and Chengdu.

They have formed fierce competition with the enterprises in our city. In the words of customers, they are: the production technology is hard enough, the quoted price is reasonable, and the order is to whom.

Ding Jian Chang, a shoe manufacturer in Jinjiang, said that enterprises should try to make changes in the production process of women's shoes, and try to grab orders for women's shoes that do not have obvious peak season.

"Trying to cross the production area of women's shoes with larger added value is also an industrial upgrading of shoemaking industry."

City footwear industry association responsible person said that the majority of the current order from Guangdong to Quanzhou belongs to women's shoes at low price.

For the first time, the average quantity is low. Enterprises must have excellent production technology to cooperate with new customers. Therefore, enterprises can make small batch production first, and wait for the technology to mature, and then do a large volume export.
