The practice is that all recovered fiber materials are concentrated in Dalton, then classified and sent to different factories for reprocessing. The company believes that this can reduce energy consumption and improve reuse. Almost all recycled materials can be reused.
The 6.6 type nylon is hard to recycle and produce high quality fiber yarn, and it is difficult to process. The recovery rate of the 6.6 type nylon fiber and 6 type fiber or other recycled fiber in the United States increased from 18% in 2009 to 33% in 2010, of which the recovery rate of the backing was 39%, while the recycling rate of the waste fiber was 46%.
Recovery of cotton fiber
The recovery of cotton fibers in the west is mainly used in nonwoven and respinning products. The United States has done an excellent job in this respect, and almost every state has developed the technology of PI fiber waste utilization. Moreover, regenerated cotton fibers are not inferior to new cotton fibers, including high quality baby diapers, hygiene products, cleaning products, cosmetics, personal care products, industrial supplies, paper products and so on.
The recovery of waste cotton fiber needs to avoid damaging fiber length. Traditional machining methods often destroy the proper properties of fibers. If so, recycled fiber can only be applied to develop low-grade products. For this reason, some companies in the United States have developed advanced fiber recovery and regeneration technology, which can effectively protect the properties of the raw fiber, and can also be mixed with any other fibers, and its texture and properties are not different from those of raw materials. In this way, they can produce high quality recycled products. Moreover, this kind of regeneration technology is often patented, transferable or commercially produced.
