India'S Textile Industry Strives To Solve The Labor Crisis
The textile and clothing industry in India is making strenuous efforts to alleviate the labor crisis. This is achieved through bundling with different suspected industrial training institutions and establishing new training centers throughout the country, which helps the textile and garment sector retain skilled workers.

(TEXPROCIL) President Lu RAli said: "to reverse the shortage of labour, textile mills are working hard to tie up with industrial training institutions and other private institutions.
In order to retain workers, the industry has provided and improved various mechanisms, covering more and more, implementing various plans according to corporate social responsibility and training separately. "
Lu also said that due to the gradual emergence of new opportunities in Sancho Gandhi's International Rural Employment Guarantee Law (MGNREGA) and service sectors, including the real estate sector, workers in the country's labour intensive textile industry turned to other sectors.
According to a survey conducted by the India Federation of industry and commerce, nearly 45% of the industry said that the capacity of their units only utilized 50-60% because of the lack of labor.
In fact, 30% of their profits are shrinking because they can not achieve them.

Nearly 15% of the units are considering turning the focus to brand building, and 10% of the units say they will soon migrate their production units to the inland areas, where they can get workers at low wages.
In fact, the textile and clothing industry in India employs 35 million workers, and the number of ancillary industries is relative to that.
In 2015, the number of employees in the textile and garment industry is expected to rise to 47 million.
Secretary General of India Textile Industry Federation (CITI)
Nair
"We are launching technology development projects to establish training centers for workers in the spinning, weaving and processing sectors," he said.
After training in India, only those volunteers and trained workers will be provided to the industrial sector to supplement the production needs of the textile and garment sector.
Mr. Nair said that in order to reverse the labor crisis in the textile and garment industry, many companies used different practices. The most common way was to use their existing workers, encourage them to bring new players from the countryside, and then train them in textile work.
