Yesterday, led by the Jinjiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Jinjiang self import and export business training seminar organized by the State Administration of Taxation, inspection and quarantine and Shishi customs and other departments was held, attracting nearly 200 representatives from Jinjiang enterprises.
More than 280 enterprises in Jinjiang have the right of self export. According to the introduction, more than 280 enterprises in Jinjiang currently have the right to self export.
According to the statistics of Jinjiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the total export volume of Jinjiang in 2007 was about US $4 billion 500 million, of which the amount of self export was about US $1 billion 21 million.
The proportion of self operated export accounts for less than 1/4.
Zhuang Yuejin, deputy director of Jinjiang Business Bureau, said that since last year, the export situation of Jinjiang has become increasingly grim. On the one hand, the appreciation of the RMB to the US dollar, the increase of labor costs and the increase of raw and auxiliary materials prices have squeezed profits of the import and export enterprises.
"On the other hand, international trade technical barriers and national macro-control policies also have certain impact on the export situation."

Zhuang Yuejin said that this is also the purpose of the training held by the Jinjiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, so that more enterprises recognize the importance of self export and solve some difficulties and difficulties in foreign trade activities.
Self export right brings more opportunities and export profits are compressed, making Jinjiang export-oriented enterprises face greater business pressure.
It is reported that a large part of export-oriented enterprises in Jinjiang are exporting products through foreign trade intermediary companies, and some even hesitate to go to Quanzhou, Xiamen and other places for pit exports.
"The energy we need to spend is naturally self-evident. In addition, we must pay a certain percentage to each trading company."

Zhuang Yuejin said that enterprises have the right of self export, and the payment of export goods can be directly entered into the business account, raising the utilization ratio of funds and reducing the risk of funds.
"In addition, some enterprises with self export rights can participate in high-profile exhibitions such as Canton Fair, and get more opportunities to communicate and cooperate with international high-end customers."

Of course, the relevant departments have certain requirements and conditions for enterprises to apply for self export right, which also requires enterprises to standardize and upgrade their management and taxation aspects.
"This is also the incentive and regulatory role of self export right to enterprises, which is long-term and conducive to long-term development of enterprises."
Zhuang Yuejin said.
Short term difficulties in self export need to overcome the right of production enterprises to seek independent export, which means a certain amount of manpower, material and financial input. Even in the premise of sufficient funds, many enterprises in Jinjiang still have a lot of headaches.
In this regard, Zhuang Yuejin said that enterprises in the initial stage of self export business will be troubled by funds, talents and many other factors. This is also the place where the competent government departments will help coordinate, and short-term difficulties must be overcome.
"For example, we hold training sessions, hoping to help enterprises learn more about this knowledge. In addition, relevant departments have introduced some supporting and rewarding policies on foreign trade self export, which can help enterprises achieve self export better and faster, increase profits and expand enterprises."
