How To Deal With The "Stuck" Fault Of Sewing Equipment

In the process of maintenance, it is often encountered that the machine is stuck and can not continue to work. For maintenance workers, it is a skill embodiment of machine repair to correctly judge faults and take a relatively ideal way to deal with them in time.
Taking the common high-speed sewing machine, the sewing machine and the 558 head buttonhole machine as the reference, the author collects and sums up some experiences in the work as a guide to explore together.
Listen and understand
When a machine card dies, it is first known to the operator.
Listen: describe the malfunction, feel uncomfortable, different sounds, fever and smell.
Q: what measures have been taken, such as removing objects and sundries, removing and mobilizing screws and parts, whether there is foreign matter entering the machine, fuel supply and so on.
If we don't know much about the machine's past situation, we should also consider whether we have overhauled or replaced any accessories.
The useful information is absorbed from the operator's description and enquiry of the fault situation, and the preliminary analysis of the fault is carried out, and the targeted parts are identified for the location of the stuck.
Generally it can be done in the following ways.
Gap observation method
When the whole machine is stuck, turn off the power supply, leave the spindle belt, and try to rotate the spindle pulley clockwise and counter clockwise, and observe whether there is no gap, whether it can turn positive and reverse the phenomenon of a certain (small) angle.
Try to push and pull in the axial direction by hand and see if there is a reasonable gap in the axial direction, then open the rear cover of the machine and start from the spindle wheel to check whether there is a stitch between the spindle and the shaft sleeve; whether there is a phenomenon between the spindle wheel and the shaft sleeve or not, is there a reasonable gap between the gear and the gear, and the screw between the gear and the gear is not loosely removed; there is no reasonable clearance between the pin bar and the pin, the needle bar and the sleeve, and the clearance between the pin and the sleeve ends.
Observe the different changes of the gap and find the stuck.

In the process of which parts or pmission points belong to, sometimes it is not easy to find fault points at any time, or the pfer termination between components and parts can not be determined before.
Separating the connecting pin on the lower end of the bending pin of the sewing machine can determine whether the clamping between the sliding sleeve and the sliding bar is stuck.
Separating the feeding shaft and the ratchet connecting screw of the 558 head buttonhole machine can also determine whether the location of the die is on the nose or the base.
The proper use of component separation method to find and analyze can quickly determine the location of the fault, which is helpful for dealing with the fault and restoring the original location relationship.
It can improve work efficiency.
Fault handling
The cause and cause of the stuck fault can be determined, and the location and damage of the parts can be effectively processed and restored, and the machine location relationship can be restored.
The spindle is mostly caused by thread ends and broken needles entering the shuttle guide.
(1) without serious seizure, you can hold the main pulley wheel with your hands and try to reverse it, and apply proper inertia back and forth several times. When the spindle can rotate, the obstruction in the shuttle can be cleared. If the rotary shuttle and the needle location are not changed, then check whether the broken pin causes damage to the parts, which needs to be dealt with, that is to say, the machine can be recovered.
2. When the above method fails to remove the obstruction, it needs to remove the rotary hook positioning hook, so that the internal control bar of the shuttle can not be controlled. Then choose the medium screw driver (fine punch), use small hammer or steel wire tongs to tap the reverse direction of the revolving shuttle in the right direction.

When cleaning up, or when there is a clear dislocation between the rotating shuttle and the needle location, the positioning hook and shuttle screw can be removed directly to clean up the sundries, and then locate the damaged parts after reexamination.
