6 years ago, Chongqing shoes made in Bishan 12 years ago, there are several household workshops for leather shoes in eight Tang Town, Bishan County, with an annual output of less than 10000 pairs of leather shoes.

12 years later, Bishan county has built the largest shoe capital in Western China. It has more than 1300 production enterprises and operators, and produces about 62000000 pairs of shoes each year.

The annual output value of leather shoes industry in Bishan reaches 4 billion yuan, becoming one of the three major economic pillars, and shoes produced by Bishan County account for 60% of Chongqing's output.

Today, in Bishan, there are more than 100 well-known domestic brands, including the world shoe giant Brazil paramount Asia branch, China AOKANG group and so on.

Bishan is responsible for its participation in the world competition. The footwear industry in Bishan, in addition to supplying the domestic market, is also doing some border trade through two ports in Guangzhou and Urumqi.

But the border trade trade is too small to meet the export requirements of Bishan footwear industry.

In 2010, the output value will reach 8 billion yuan to 2010. The output value and scale of Bishan footwear industry will be doubled on the existing basis, and the output value will reach more than 8 billion yuan.

From shoe making equipment, raw and auxiliary materials to purchase and sale channels have formed a huge network.

Apart from having a huge market, Bishan also has a huge labor market.
