Guangdong Exports Increased Pformation And Upgrading &Nbsp; &Nbsp; Domestic Sales To Zhejiang.
In February, the growth rate of imports and exports in Guangdong increased by about 28% in a single month, while the growth rate of imports and exports, exports and imports in China was around 45%.
According to the latest statistics released by the Guangdong branch of customs, the total export volume of Guangdong in 1-2 months was 53 billion 270 million US dollars, up 22.1% from the same period last year, which is lower than the 31.4% growth rate of the whole country.
Also significantly lower than Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places.
Behind the slowdown in export growth is the vigorous promotion of pformation and upgrading.
Experts believe that the degree of dependence on foreign trade has been greatly reduced, and expanding domestic demand to a strategic position has been one of the core contents of Guangdong's economic pformation from exports to exports and domestic demand in the past.
The latest statistics from the Guangdong branch of the Customs Department showed that the total value of Guangdong's import and export trade was $92 billion 550 million in 1~2 months, up 31% from the same year, lower than the national 44.8%, accounting for 24% of the total value of the national import and export, and 13 billion 990 million US dollars in Guangdong's foreign trade surplus.
However, according to customs analysis, Guangdong's foreign trade import and export recovery rate is obviously lagging behind the whole country, and the growth rate of import and export is obviously lower than that of Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong and Fujian.
Similarly, as a coastal export province, Zhejiang exported $25 billion 180 million in 1-2 months, an increase of 45.1% over the previous year, 23 percentage points higher than that in Guangdong.
Hangzhou customs chief analysis showed that the outstanding performance of private enterprises, the rapid growth of ASEAN exports, the good performance of nuclear power generation products and textiles, and other three factors stimulated Zhejiang's strong export growth this year.
Data show that Guangdong's foreign trade import and export, export and import value decreased by 3%, 3.4% and 2.6%, respectively, in 1~2 months.
The rebound in February was significantly weaker than that in the whole country.
In February, Guangdong imported and exported 43 billion 670 million US dollars in a single month, exporting US $24 billion 950 million and importing US $18 billion 720 million, an increase of 28% over the same period, while the growth rate of imports, exports and imports in China is around 45%.
It is understood that in 1~2 months, Guangdong's exports to Hongkong, the United States and the European Union increased by 12%, 11.6% and 25.3% respectively, and the total exports to the 3 countries and regions accounted for 63.4% of the total share of Guangdong's exports in the same period.
Benefiting from the formal operation of the China ASEAN Free Trade Area, Guangdong's export to ASEAN has increased by 59.4%.
Jiang Lin, director of the Department of Finance and taxation of the south of the Five Ridges College of Zhongshan University and deputy director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Pearl River Delta Research Center, said that Guangdong's export economy is well-developed, and its export base is far greater than the national average level. Its growth rate is not comparable with that of the whole country.
Jiang Lin said that the investment in fixed assets in Guangdong was lower than the national average except that the base difference was large. The reason was that social resources were refocused on the export-oriented economy.
"Guangdong is in an awkward situation.
In the second half of last year, the economy recovered, and Guangdong's external economy rebounded. Private investment was mainly used to invite workers to pick up foreign orders instead of buying new machines and expanding production lines. "
Behind the slowdown in export growth is Guangdong's pformation and upgrading.
Professor Wang Xianqing, director of the Institute of circulation economics, Guangdong University of Business, said: "Guangdong is in the process of economic pformation, and it is one of the core contents of this economic pformation from the past export oriented to export and domestic demand."
Dalang town is a pilot town of Dongguan's industrial structure adjustment and upgrading. In response to the impact of the financial crisis, Dalang town reformed and promoted the characteristic industry of wool weaving, vigorously developed the electronic information industry, accelerated the development of modern service industry, actively nurturing new industries, and quickening the adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure. In 2009, Dalang town was awarded the title of "China's famous town of electronic information industry" by the China Electronic Chamber of Commerce.
A few days ago, Liang Yaowen, director of the Guangdong foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Department, said that Guangdong's dependence on foreign trade was 155% in 2007, 133% in 2008 and 106% in 2009.
Professor Zheng Tianxiang, a research center of Hong Kong, Macao and Pearl River Delta in Zhongshan University, believes that a drop of nearly 50% indicates that Guangdong's dependence on foreign trade has dropped markedly.
The Guangdong government will expand domestic demand to a strategic height and show its determination to guide industrial upgrading.
In mid January, the Guangdong provincial Party committee and the provincial government issued the decision on implementing the strategy of expanding domestic demand.
The decision is divided into 10 parts and 37 articles, covering almost all the important areas of economic and social work, such as optimizing investment structure, promoting industrial upgrading, promoting urbanization, developing new consumption areas, promoting the "wide range of goods and industry", promoting coordinated development of urban and rural areas, and improving the income and social security level of residents.
"Expanding domestic demand and upgrading industries is a good thing". Professor Zheng Tianxiang believes that while expanding domestic demand and upgrading industries, the export-oriented economy can not slide too fast, otherwise it will have a great impact on Guangdong port pport, labor and employment.
The downward adjustment of the export economy should be coordinated with the development speed of the equipment industry and hi-tech industries.
"Guangdong's dependence on foreign trade has dropped by 50%, but the equipment industry and hi-tech industry have not increased by 50%, which is unmatched."
Similarly, as a major coastal export province, the pace of development of Zhejiang can not be ignored.
According to statistics, Zhejiang's industrial added value of above scale in 1-2 months was 126 billion 90 million yuan, an increase of 25.3% over the previous year, 8.4 percentage points higher than that of Guangdong; its total export volume in 25 billion 180 million months was 25 billion 180 million US dollars, an increase of 23% over that of Guangdong; its total retail sales of consumer goods totaled 164 billion 210 million yuan in 1-2 months, up by 18.3% over the same period last year, higher than the growth rate of 17.2% in Guangdong.
Jiang Lin believes that these data show that Zhejiang's strong momentum of development, Guangdong is lying on the past pcript.
"But there is no need for Guangdong to be self belittling. Guangdong's economy is large and its base is high.
The overall scale of Zhejiang is small, and its total volume is not comparable with the total volume of Guangdong.
We should not only look at the increment, but also the stock.
"Guangdong and Zhejiang are two modes of economic development". Peng Peng, the Guangzhou Academy of Social Sciences and executive vice president of the Guangzhou Private Economic Development Research Association, said Guangdong is an extrinsic economy with a high degree of external dependence. Zhejiang is an endogenous economy, and the main business of small businesses is the mainland economy.
Guangdong now values the domestic market and should learn more from Zhejiang.
"Small commodities big market, small enterprises and big industries" is the main development mode of Zhejiang enterprises.
For example, the electronic watches and clocks in Yiwu's small commodity market account for 40% of the world's total production, and jewelry production accounts for more than 65% of the national market share, and the zipper accounts for more than 30%.
Wang Yang, Secretary of the provincial Party committee, said in a study tour in Zhejiang that regional competition is a cultural competition in the long run.
There are 4 million people in Zhejiang doing business in all parts of the country, and 1 million people are doing business all over the world.
Chaozhou and Shantou areas in Guangdong used to go out more overseas. However, after the reform and opening up, fewer people went out. Zhejiang's "entrepreneurial spirit of doing everything possible, thousands of mountains and rivers, hardships and difficulties" is worth learning from Guangdong.
Jiang Lin believes that the biggest advantage of Guangdong lies in private enterprises.
As the market mechanism of Guangdong is flexible, the market allocation of resources is high, and the "internal and external links" are well done, "it is very important for the government to guide the private sector to play well."
