How To Write Career Plans For Life
Step one: analyze your
demand
You may ask: how do you do this? Try the following two ways.
One is to use your mind and write down 10 things that you think you should do in the next 5 years. Be precise, but do not have any limitations or concerns.
Second more direct, complete the sentence: "I will be satisfied when I die, if..."
Imagine that you will soon be dead. What kind of achievements, status, money, family and social responsibilities will satisfy you?
The second step: SWOT (strengths / weaknesses / opportunities / challenges) analyze and analyze your needs and try.

And what are the opportunities in your life? What are the threats in your career? It's asking you to try to understand and answer your question: where am I?
Third step: long term and short term.

For example, if you analyze your needs to teach, earn a lot of money, and have a good social status, your optional career path will be clear.
You can choose to be a management lecturer. This requires your strengths including rich management knowledge and experience, excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
On the basis of this long-term goal, you can formulate your own short-term goals and achieve them step by step.
The fourth step: to obstruct, rather, to write down the shortcomings of your goals and their weaknesses in the environment. These shortcomings must be related to your goals rather than analyzing all your shortcomings.
They may be deficiencies in your quality, knowledge, ability, creativity, financial resources or behavior habits.
When you find yourself in a short time, make up your mind to correct it, which can make you progress.
The fifth step: enhance the plan. Now write down the action plan you need to overcome.
You may need to master some new skills, improve some of your current skills, or learn new knowledge.
The sixth step: it's not difficult to ask for help to analyze the shortcomings of your own habits, but it's hard to change them. I believe your parents, teachers, friends, superiors and career consultants can help you.
External assistance and supervision will help you accomplish this step more effectively.
The seventh step: analyze your role and make a clear plan of implementation: make sure what you are going to do according to the plan. Now you have a preliminary career planning plan.
If you are currently working in a single unit, it is very important for you to further improve. What you need to do is role analysis.
Reflect on what the unit demands and expects of you.
What kind of contribution can make you stand out in the unit? Most people tend to be numb in their long term work and clear about their roles.
But just like any product in the market should have its own characteristics of positioning and selling points, you also have to do something, some related, meaningful and influential but not conventional things, let the unit know your existence, recognition of your value and achievements.
Successful people will constantly evaluate their output value by comparing their input and keep their contributions above the requirements of the unit.
We will make a plan ourselves! If you can successfully answer the fifth question, "what is my career plan?" you have the final answer.
In many institutions and experts, career planning seems to have to rely on them.
It is undeniable that the research in this field must have knowledge and training in psychology, while a person with basic humanistic qualities can use some simple and feasible methods, including the five step method, for career planning.
This method, designed by the author in his work practice and successfully applied by many people, relies on the mode of returning to zero:
Ask yourself who you are.
Then there are five questions: who am I? What do I want to do? What do I want to do? What will I do? What does the environment support or allow me to do? What is my career and life plan? Answering these five questions and finding their highest common ground, you have your own career planning.

First take out five pieces of white paper, a pencil and an eraser.
Write the above five questions on the top of each sheet.
Then, calm down and get rid of interference, and carefully consider each question independently.
For the first question, "who am I?" the main point of the answer is: to face up to oneself, to write out every real answer; after writing, think again whether there is any omission, think that there is really no, sort according to importance.
For the second question, "what do I want to do?" I can trace my thoughts back to childhood, start with the idea of the first thing I want to do in my life, and then, as I grow older, recollection of what I really yearn for what I want to do, and record them one by one. After I finish writing, I want to think about omissions.
For the third question, "what can I do?" I list the ability to prove and the potential that I think I can develop. I think that if we did not miss it, we would sort it carefully.
The fourth question, "what does the environment support or allow me to do?" needs to be analyzed slightly: the environment, including the units, the city, the province, the country and other countries, is small and large, so long as they believe that they are likely to use the environment, they should be within the scope of consideration; seriously consider what support and permission they may get in these circumstances, and then understand and write them down one by one, then arrange them in importance.
If you can successfully answer the fifth question, "what is my career plan?" you have the final answer.
The practice is to separate the first four sheets of paper and fifth sheets of paper, then carefully compare the answers from the first to the fourth sheets, connect the same or similar answers with a horizontal line, and you will get several connections. Instead of connecting the other lines to the top line, that is what you should do most. Your career should take this as the direction.
And in this direction, three years as a unit, the objectives of the near term, medium term and long term are put forward, and the goals for this year are put forward in the near future. The goals of this year are divided into quarterly targets, monthly goals, weekly goals and daily goals.
In this way, you can reflect on your goals before you go to bed every day, sum up the achievements and mistakes, experiences and lessons of the day, and revise the goals and methods for tomorrow. After second days of waking up, you can go into action after a little revision.
