The Exposure Of Brand Clothing Was Exposed To &Nbsp; How Did Former World Champion Lining Declare Himself?
Lining, a famous male gymnast in China.
He created the myth of World Gymnastics history, so he was called "the prince of gymnastics".
After retiring, Lining named after his name the "Lining" sports brand, Lining (China) Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. chairman.
The 14 global clothing brands contain poison.
In August 23rd, the Greenpeace released by the international environmental protection organization released the report on the investigation of toxic and harmful substances in the global brand clothing: a report on the "toxic residue", which includes 14 families including Lining, NIKE, CONVERSE, UNIQLO, etc.
Famous clothing enterprises
The clothes contain toxic nonylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (NPE).
I learned from the 24 interview that for the report, there are only
Nike
,
Puma
And a few enterprises have released the timetable for the elimination, and YOUNGOR [10.370.58% shares research report] and other enterprises say they are re testing the products being inspected.
Li Ning Co told the outside world that the company had sent the sample products to the international authoritative testing institutions SGS and CTI for testing the NPE content in July 22nd, and the results were in line with the EU REACH standard.
Li Ning Co thinks
Green Peace
The results of the sample survey published in the survey report are in line with the EU REACH standard.
In response to the Li Ning Co statement, Greenpeace issued a response on the afternoon of 24, saying that Li Ning Co misread the EU REACH standard, accusing Lining and Adidas of the lack of elimination action and information disclosure, and the "detoxification" pledge lacks the real "poison" determination.
At the time of the 24 day dispatch, UNIQLO, CONVERSE and so on had not yet responded to this.
It involves many famous brands in China.
In the survey, the author found that 28 samples were produced in China, among which 19 samples contained NPE, including 14 brands including CONVERSE, Nike, ADI, UNIQLO, Lining, YOUNGOR, PUMA and so on. The samples were mainly T-shirts and POLO shirts. The samples included 78 samples.
Among the 19 samples containing NPE, the brands of NPE over 500 mg per kilogram include Lining, A&F, Nike and YOUNGOR. Among them, a A&F denim shorts NPE content is as high as 1100 mg / kg, and a sweater of Lining and YOUNGOR is 680 and 530 mg / kg respectively. Nike's two T-shirts are 810 and 660 mg / kg respectively.
In all the spot checks, I saw that a T-shirt NPE produced in Philippines is also up to 27000 mg / kg.
Zhang Kai, director of the Greenpeace pollution and control project, told the 24 to the author that the procurement survey time was concentrated in 4-5 months this year. The third party testing institution was a famous laboratory in the UK. "Samples of 2/3 including Adidas, Lining and so on were detected with NPE, hoping that all enterprises immediately eliminated toxic substances."

enterprise Response attitude Different
After the release of the report by Greenpeace, many companies responded.
Nike and Puma responded positively, saying that all toxic and harmful substances in their supply chain will be eliminated by 2020, and an open plan of action will be worked out in the near future.
The head of the Propaganda Department of YOUNGOR group told the author 24 days ago that she had responded to the report at the first time. She said, "these three products have qualified reports of third party tests in China, and are in line with the GB18401 standard". However, "we sent the samples to the third party for testing again, but the results have not yet come out, and at the same time, they also put forward requirements for the upstream supply chain."
Zhang Xiaoyan, director of Lining announcements, said in micro-blog, "Lining products contain NPE, but they are within EU standards."
In an email sent to the author, Adidas said, "our NPE concentration is far below the target value. Most of the Adidas products tested do not detect NPE (5 of the 9 samples tested do not contain NPE)."
Adidas said it followed the target value of 100 mg / kg, which is the best industry standard.
As of the time of the author's release, other brands accused of containing NPE had not yet responded to it, and some enterprises told the author that they had not yet seen the report.
Zhang Kai said that before the introduction of the report, a month ago, green environmental protection organizations had already communicated with other enterprises on issues such as e-mail and face-to-face, but some enterprises had not yet responded.

Greenpeace accused Lining of not being determined enough.
As a sports sport product in China
First brand
Lining has a high level of NPE in many products, and Lining issued a statement the day before the report that it would reduce and eliminate chemicals that affect the environment in 8 to 10 years.
For Lining's response, Greenpeace issued a statement on the afternoon of 24 to the Lining statement.
Greenpeace said, "Li Ning Co's commitment does not reflect Li Ning Co's determination to completely eliminate toxic and harmful substances, and lacks corresponding measures to ensure that its" detoxification "process is open and pparent.
In an interview with Li Ning Co, it claimed that Li Ning Co products comply with the EU REACH regulations. Greenpeace said Li Ning Co had misread the regulation. "The limit of 0.1% (1000 mg / kg) is not for final products, but for chemical reagents used in production."
In the survey, 4 brands of Lining's clothing were detected with NPE residues, one of which was 680 mg / kg.
"This indicates that NPE toxic and harmful substances are used and discharged in the production of Lining garments and pollute the rivers in China."
Greenpeace said that all clothing brands including Lining and Adidas should make a real "poison" commitment as soon as possible, and promote the development of the industry to a non-toxic direction.
On the 24 day, YOUNGOR and other enterprises interviewed by the author expressed the hope that the relevant departments of China promulgated the management standards for NPE and its chemical preparations.
In addition, experts from the foregoing China printing and dyeing industry association said, "laws are needed to control enterprises that produce chemical preparations at the source of chemical industry. These enterprises are required to announce the content of NPE in chemical preparations, and clothing enterprises will have more safety."
Zhang Kai also expressed the hope that enterprises in the principle of non-toxic, to make a timetable to eliminate NPE, followed by public disclosure of information to consumers, third, the formulation of short-term action timetable.

It is not difficult to achieve "complete poison".
In his communication with the author, Zhang Kai said that Greenpeace hopes that the brand involved in the "toxic residue" report can be completely "detoxified" and completely eliminate all toxic and harmful substances in its supply chain, as well as toxic and harmful substances emitted during the production process.
Zhang Kai told me that the toxic substance NPE detected was mainly found in textile auxiliaries and detergents. Once the printing and dyeing auxiliaries and detergents containing toxic substances were used, manufacturers could cause toxic substances to remain.
However, brand manufacturers' requirements are often limited to the final inspection of finished products, and no strict requirements are made for the production process.
As a manufacturer, it will reduce the residue of toxic substances by increasing the number of washing clothes. Even if the testing results of the finished products reach the standard, the pollution to the environment will only increase.
Zhang Kai believed that
Brand dealer
It is also capable and obliged to achieve complete elimination of poison, and to strengthen the right to achieve "complete detoxification".
Supply chain
After that, it can be done.
Xia Jianming, director of the Institute of dyeing and finishing technology at Zhejiang Textile and Fashion College, told the author that the NPE residue of toxic substances in textile printing and dyeing process has not been seen in China, but it can not be completely eliminated.
Because the printing and dyeing effects of the finished products are better after using the auxiliaries added with NEP components, some manufacturers will still use NPE containing auxiliaries.
Under normal circumstances, the export of clothing products have been completely "non-toxic", but because there is no relevant domestic regulations, domestic products can not be guaranteed.
It is not difficult for Xia Jianming to say that if he wants to completely "poison" in the production process.
Technically speaking, there is already a substitute for non-toxic printing and dyeing auxiliaries in China, and the cost is only 5-10% higher than the original.
Little information: what kind of substance is NPE?
According to a paper published in Chinese Journal of environmental science, NPE and its degradation products stimulate the eyes and have a hormonal effect on the environment.
Although it does not cause human poisoning directly through the skin, it will rapidly decompose into nonylphenol (NP) in water. NP can mimic estrogen, interfere with the endocrine of the organism, and is toxic to the reproductive system.
For fear of its safety, some countries and regions such as the European Union have banned it for 20 years.
