Shoe Companies Should Hire Workers To See The New Rural Workers' Career Expectations.
After the Spring Festival, the job seekers for migrant workers have entered the peak period. The reporter interviewed in Quanzhou, an economically developed southern Fujian Province, found that the phenomenon of lack of work is still serious, and the recruitment of large and small enterprises has been encountering "two days of ice and fire". The new generation of migrant workers has different characteristics from the previous generation of migrant workers in terms of employment mentality, career expectations and rights awareness.
"New migrant workers" job requirements "hope that monthly wages can reach 1500 yuan, working hours within 10 hours a day, weekend rest, medical insurance."
Wang Anshun from Anqing, Anhui described his career expectations.
Wang Anshun, 22, worked for 3 years in Shishi, Quanzhou.
In the past 3 years, he has changed to 13 enterprises. "They are all garment workers in small garment factories, piecework wages, the highest income is 1700 yuan a month, but most of the monthly income is about 1000 yuan."
It's not easy to get the salary of 1000 yuan or so. Wang Anshun has to go to 3 classes a day: 8 am to 11:30 noon, 1:30 p.m. to late afternoon.
"The clothing industry is streamlined operations, the machine will not stop turning."
Wang Anshun told reporters that his company's front-line workers did not rest at weekends, but they did not have evening classes on Sunday night and had one to two days off a month.
At the end of last year, Wang Anshun's clothing factory went bankrupt, and after the Spring Festival, he had to find a job again.
"The local garment factories are badly off for jobs. Many factories have to recruit thousands of people at a time. Finding jobs is not difficult, but I want to find a big business, big enterprises have a good working environment, have a vacation, do not work overtime, and have their own spare time."
It is not easy for Wang Anshun to make his wish come true. Despite the lack of 180 thousand workers in the Quanzhou area after the Spring Festival, the recruitment situation of small and medium-sized enterprises is different.
At the beginning of the month, seven, in the labor market of Wu Qiao, Chen Tai town, Jinjiang, a large local sports shoe manufacturer advertised the word "no overtime", which made the recruitment booth full of popularity.
Enterprise commitment: "without lowering wages, the working hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p. m., with a 1.5 hour break and 1 days off every weekend."
In a few days, the company recruited more than 500 workers.
Zhao Wei, a migrant worker from Daxian, Sichuan, told reporters that many migrant workers now apply for "goods to three", and consider the factors such as wages and benefits, personal development and other factors.
"Generally speaking, the wages provided by family workshops and small businesses will be one hundred or two hundred yuan higher than that of large enterprises, but the employers there extend the working hours of workers, increase labor intensity, wage arrears, and no help for work-related injuries."
The reporter interviewed found that large enterprises with high standard of employment do not worry about not recruiting workers, good reputation, humanized management, perfect living facilities, rich cultural and entertainment life, vocational training and good career development space.
Large enterprises are more attractive to migrant workers.
Li Hui and his wife from Anhui port have worked in Shishi shoe group for 5 years. Affected by the snowstorm, Li Hui and his wife did not go home for the new year this year. "The company produced 500 thousand, providing free meals for more than 3000 migrant workers in the factory, arranging movie watching, traveling around and so on. We are not lonely this year."
The concern for employees has been rewarded. At present, the total number of workers with more than 7000 workers is over 95%.
Some small and medium-sized enterprises are facing greater difficulties in recruiting workers. The head of a knitting factory in Shishi told reporters that they planned to recruit 1300 people, but only more than 300 people were recruited. "We need skilled workers, heavy production tasks, no time to train novice, but too few skilled workers."
Zhang Hui, vice chairman of the Quanzhou Federation of trade unions, said that the main force of the labor market is the new generation of migrant workers born after the 80s of last century. Compared with the first generation of migrant workers who went out to work in the early days of reform and opening up, this generation has higher education level, stronger awareness of rights protection, more emphasis on personal value realization of occupation expectations, welfare treatment, good employment environment, no violation of their legitimate rights and interests, spiritual needs, and enterprises providing individuals with space for development.
In recent years, many enterprises in Quanzhou have begun to retain their employees through improving the employment environment and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers, such as providing couples' rooms, installing air-conditioning and disinfection equipment in the workshop, setting up Internet cafes for employees, organizing recreational activities, handling medical insurance and work-related injury insurance for their employees, promoting opportunities for employees and flexible working hours.
The government and trade union organizations have increased the supervision of enterprises' standardized labor supervision, exposed arrears of wage enterprises, urged enterprises to handle social insurance for their employees, and provided power protection for workers' rights protection.
Zhang Hui commented that, with the implementation of the labor contract law, the establishment of the longest labor time limit, minimum wage standard, social insurance benefits, overtime pay and paid leave system, and the legitimate rights and interests of workers will be fully protected by law. Enterprises that will gain profits by "extending labor hours, increasing labor intensity and depriving workers' legitimate rights and interests" will become increasingly difficult to survive. Enterprises must change their employment concepts and standardize their employment system, so as to better survive in improving their competitiveness.
