The National Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision issued a notice recently that the certification body must not issue the 2000 edition of the standard certificate since November 15, 2009. Since November 15, 2010, any 2000 edition of standard certificate is invalid. The notice also requires that certification bodies, when issuing the 2008 edition of certification, should ensure that auditors participate in the related transformation training provided by the quality management system auditor training institution approved by the National Commission for accreditation, and obtain the certificate of training before engaging in the 2008 edition certification audit.
