The New Designer Of Holland Turned The Windbreaker Into A Walking Charger.

Pauline van Dongen has launched new works.

She worked with Waddenvereniging, the Holland von Marine Association, to design a fashion for outdoor guides working in the Walden Sea Islands nature reserve.

The energy stored at one time can continue to charge the cell phone for two hours, and it can also connect GPS devices to solve the power demand of the guides for a long time.

These tour guides, known as Wad Walkers, are often at the seaside. When the tide ebbs, there will be vast expanses of mud in the waters. Guides will help hikers explore these unknown areas, so they often need to walk for more than 10 hours without charging.

"Wad Walkers needs to face different weather conditions, including strong winds and rain, which we also considered in design."

Van Dongen explains that although the solar wind coat is most useful when it is sunny, it is also waterproof and can be applied to different seasons.

There are 3 solar panels on the front side of the windbreaker.

The material made of windbreaker is the circulating denim denim cotton yarn provided by BlueLOOPOriginals.

The collar of the windbreaker has a hidden zipper and opens with a collar cap.

3 soft solar panels are attached to the front side of the windbreaker, so that the guides do not carry a backpack behind them.

If you forget to bring the connection data line, the electric induction charging system equipped with windbreaker will also support wireless charging.

Although this windbreaker is specially designed for the guides, the vanDongen's similar solar shirt was designed for the public, though it has not yet started to sell.

Solar blouse

This solar shirt can store more energy and charge up to several hours.

The supporting charging devices include smart phones, MP3 players, cameras, GPS devices and other USB rechargeable devices.

For the time being, no charge is required, and the power in the shirt will be retained for later use.

VanDongen started the idea of designing solar powered charging garments in 2013. Before that, she also launched a series of solar Parker coats, jackets and skirts.

To tell you the truth, electronic devices rely heavily on the demand for charging, which is really too much to be satisfied.
