Portuguese Designers Won The Second LVMH Championship

Portuguese designers two group Marques and Almeida won the second LVMH championship.

"LVMH Prize" dust settled, the winner is the Marques "Almeida women's brand" Portuguese designer two person group Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida (below).

The LVMH youth designer Grand Prix was launched in 2013 under the impetus of LVMH group's eldest daughter, group director and Louis Vuitton brand second tier Delphine Arnault.

They received a prize of 300 thousand euros and a one year mentoring of the LVMH, a leading global luxury group.

According to reports, the award ceremony was held in the Paris Louis Vuitton Foundation Art Museum designed by Frank Gehry, the famous film star and Miss Dior perfume spokesperson Natalie Portman awarded the trophy to Marques and Almeida.

Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida are all Saint Martin art schools in London.

The master of design profession, who inherited the mantle of German fashion designer Helmut Lang, firmly believes that "fashion is about attitude, not fashion is" (not hemlines), although the two people admire the crude and free aesthetic, but their technical tactile sense is equally acute.

They worked in Vivienne Westwood and Preen brands respectively, and jointly launched the MARQUES' ALMEIDA brand 'in April 2011.

The NEWGEN grants jointly issued by the association and Topshop were in London.

It has been displaying its works since 2013.

Their first season works were sold by the famous buyer shop Opening Ceremony and Joyce, and the distribution network expanded gradually to London, New York, Losangeles, Portland, Hongkong, Korea, Russia and Australia.
