Zhu Hong Ren: The International Community'S Consensus Is To Fulfill Corporate Social Responsibility.
In June 28, 2011, the China Textile Industry Association held the "2011 Annual Conference on social responsibility of China's textile and garment industry" in the Great Hall of the people of Beijing. Zhu Hongren, member and chief engineer of the party and member of the Ministry of industry and information technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The China Textile Industry Association, the SASAC, the National Federation of trade unions, the China Federation of industrial enterprises, and China's electronic [0.76 -1.30%] industrial standard technical association were responsible for the meeting. 500 representatives of the United Nations Global Compact organization, relevant national embassies and textile and garment enterprises attended the meeting.

The textile and garment industry is the leading industry in the domestic industry to promote enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities. Under the joint efforts of the China Textile Industry Association and enterprises, the textile industry has launched the first industry standard for the social responsibility management system of China's textile and garment enterprises.

The information disclosure guidance system has released 80 reports on social responsibility of textile and garment enterprises in recent years, and the achievements achieved are obvious to all.
The initiative and participation of various industries and enterprises in fulfilling their social responsibilities are constantly increasing. More and more enterprises have integrated social responsibility into the enterprise strategy and daily management, and gradually set up a standardized social responsibility management system. By continuously carrying out corporate accountability activities, the enterprises' soft power has been enhanced, and a new solution has been found for enterprises to achieve scientific development and green development in complex domestic and international market situations.
Zhu Hongren stressed that China is in a critical period of building a well-off society in an all-round way. However, resources and environment are increasingly restricting economic and social development, and the overall cost is rising rapidly. The contradiction between employment pressure and structural shortage of labor force is prominent.
As the traditional pillar industry and important livelihood industry of the national economy, the textile industry is in the "textile industry".

"During this period, there are both opportunities for development and severe challenges.
According to the requirements of the Twelfth Five Year Plan for national economic and social development, we must adhere to the main line of accelerating the pformation of the mode of economic development, focusing on structural adjustment and industrial upgrading, taking the integration of independent innovation, brand building and integration of two as an important support, expanding the domestic demand and improving people's livelihood as the fundamental starting point, focusing on improving the value chain and realizing sustainable development, and developing a modern textile industry system with structural optimization, advanced technology, green environmental protection, high added value and strong employability.
Zhu Hongren said that the role of enterprises in economic and social development is becoming more and more important. The construction of modern textile industry system has raised new and higher requirements for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities.
First, we need to build more harmonious labor relations.
To some extent, labor shortage reflects the serious challenge of the distribution of interests between enterprises and employees. If it can not be properly solved, it will directly affect the sustainable development of enterprises.
We should guide enterprises to improve human resources management, create a responsible and harmonious corporate culture, create a humane environment for enterprise employment, constantly improve employee welfare benefits, and enhance employee participation in the development of enterprises.
Two, we should further establish the concept of environment-friendly and green development.
Energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental friendliness are not only the inevitable direction of the development of the industry, but also the firm demands of many stakeholders such as the government, society and customers.
We should guide enterprises to adopt advanced energy-saving and environmental protection technology and equipment, improve the utilization efficiency of resources and energy, actively eliminate backward production capacity, reduce pollution emissions, and take the road of green low-carbon development.
Three is to enhance the quality and integrity of enterprises.
At present, the quality and integrity of the food industry has become the focus and focus of the whole society. The textile and garment industry also has some problems such as counterfeiting and counterfeiting, imitation infringement and other issues. We should vigorously promote the construction of the quality assurance system, promote the construction of our own brand, and establish a reliable corporate reputation and integrity image.
Four, we should strengthen social publicity and supervision by public opinion.
We should give full play to the role of intermediary organizations and media, strengthen the propaganda of corporate social responsibility work, and raise the awareness of all sectors of society about the importance of corporate social responsibility, so as to create a good social atmosphere and development environment for promoting the construction of corporate social responsibility.
Zhu Hongren finally pointed out that the Ministry of industry and information technology, as the management department of the industrial sector, will further promote the improvement of the system and policy environment for enterprises to fulfill their social responsibilities with the relevant functional departments, and guide the construction of corporate social responsibility as the important starting point for the innovation of the industry management mode, so as to promote the sustained and healthy development of the industry.
At the same time, China will continue to support the social responsibility construction of China Textile Industry Association. This year, we will promote the social responsibility construction experience of the textile and garment industry to promote the electronic industry and further strengthen the overall social responsibility strategy and international discourse power of China's industry.
It is also hoped that the China Textile Industry Association will continue to play a role in promoting the social responsibility building of textile and garment enterprises and strengthening the research and exploration in the field of corporate social responsibility, so as to make suggestions for the government to adjust and formulate relevant policies and make greater contributions to the development of the industry.
