    Because the design can only be a simple industrial experience, and works can not be modern and avant-garde, nor can it be lamented and resonated.

    Culture has made the designer's clothes "soul".

    As an oriental designer, in the process of China's rise, we should create a complete set of Oriental fashion design in the process of China's uniqueness and self-confidence, and look forward to achieving the same position as western philosophy.

    In my opinion, if you want to integrate into oriental culture, you must know what level you want to pursue, just as in the designer's brand, you have to know clearly why and why you are creating.

    The lowest level: to become an oriental designer.

    A designer who runs in Eastern blood or a designer who is integrated into the eastern world, using the system formed by a western culture, is a product of the fusion of East and West.

    The point is that designers must start from the heart and create from the heart, so that each creation is already the integration of eastern and Western cultures.

    The second level: creating Oriental symbols.

    In design, we can find symbols and materials that can represent the East, add aesthetics of self, add fashion sense and international sense in design.

    For example, some ancient totem and seal in the East; some deconstruction parts in national costume, such as collar, cuff button, fabric and so on.

    Most of the market is designed like this, and I think this is not enough, because it only stiffly adds Oriental symbols to Western clothing logic.

    The third level: creating Oriental life.

    It must be carefully traced back to the way of life representing the East, looking seriously in the long history, choosing the lifestyle that each designer considers most confident and perfectly fashions, and creating a work of non symbol, inheritance meaning and life style that is worth studying deeply with unique ideas.

    This will be a historic design.

    The fourth level: interpreting Oriental thinking.

    The core is Oriental thinking mode. We need to start from the Eastern thinking judgment and make products, stories and patterns that can explain Oriental thinking.

    The East form is not memorable, but it shows the design of Oriental sense everywhere.

    The key is how to present such a thinking mode and make international understanding and international recognition.

    In the ten year's "China Fashion Geography Series" creation process, I deeply understand that nationalization will be a difficult problem in design. The display of Oriental culture seems to be unable to avoid nationalization of design, while pure nationalization can not be made because of many things that do not accord with modern people's perception.

    I also found that it is still insufficient to make nationalization internationalized and fashionable.

    I seriously studied oriental culture and realized that when removing all kinds of labels of Oriental culture, culture is a basic way of thinking.

    Different ways of thinking derive people from different perspectives and ways of looking at things.

    The difference between eastern and Western thinking modes can be embodied in: Eastern culture is concerned with the harmony of human beings in the society and the universe by virtue of human nature. Western culture is concerned with people's Transcendence in nature by virtue of reason.
