Interview With New Designer Jiang Ling
Jiang Ling
He is a young, talented and passionate designer who has won the title of Shanghai fashion designer.
The sharp knitted knit design, launched by her 2010 spring and summer conference, has become a symbol of her personal brand and has been well received in the industry.
The costume design of the tridimensional triangular series launched at the 2011 spring and summer conference also fully displayed the designers' fantastic ideas. The series not only attracted the sponsorship cooperation of Lamborghini, but was also supported by Godiva chocolate, and was praised as the best fashion show of the year by the media.
Reporter: Why did you choose to create a personality menswear brand?
Jiang Ling: I think domestic fashion design.

Brand is a blank market, so in early 2010, I founded my own menswear brand "MayJ.".
The design should make people feel different, and publicize the design concept of the brand, but it can not be exaggerated too much, otherwise the public can not understand and accept it.
Although the clothes on the show are very exaggerated, the actual sales still need clothes that are easy to wear.
The details of the wearer's taste are my requirements for the "MayJ." product.

What expectations do you have?
Jiang Ling: the most difficult thing to do in China is to break away from the whole industry chain.
At present, China's two chains have developed rapidly, one is the processing industry and the other is the design of the two.
Over the past twenty years, many Chinese designers have published their own works, and design has gradually become internationalized.
However, processing and design are not connected in series, processing does not support local design, and there is no way to create better products without local design.
Only two aspects can be combined well in order to make each other stronger and let the market know that China has good design and good brand, and will gradually praise the brand of its own country.
In addition, China's recognition of the world must first make its own characteristics, whether it's style innovation, fabric reengineering, or color matching.
Second, we must have high technology support and lead other designers in some technology.
